 Ignotius Site Disappeared?
« Thread Started on Jul 27, 2007, 12:35pm »

The Ignotius sales page and affiliate login have disappeared!

If you hover over the "why am I seeing this..." it refers to the domain being expired.

Anyone heard anything about a problem here?

It is not there!!!

I think I am going to take it off my site until someone lets us know what is going on.

Thanks Elaine. I NEVER go in and check this site. They always email me when I make a sale. I check my links every once in a while but that is it.

Hi Cindi,

I'm with you - I only noticed because I was checking a site for somebody who asked why he is not making money.

Rats! Wish I'd seen earlier, I have no time now to take Ignotius off my sites. I am so glad I reduced the exposure I was giving this program.

;DI emailed them at this address this morning and have heard nothing back as yet.

I too will take them off my site later on today, if they do not come back up. I am sure it is probably a server problem on their end. I think I remember something like this happening when we first started with them, and they fixed it. I remember seeing this site before.

How many sales are we losing because of it, is my question.

I checked my e-mail and the time stamp on the last message I received from Ignotius was 4 minutes :o before Elaine's post.

Let's hope Michael realizes what has happened and gets it fixed right away.

Sandi

UPDATE: I just checked the "whois" page and according to their info the Ignotius site is paid up through July 2008 which makes this even more weird. ??? Unless and until Michael checks his messages or his website, he won't even suspect.

It looks like they are still down.

If it is actually due to an expired domain, then it may be a while before they can get it back online.

I have sent Mike a few emails, and one of them came back as undeliverable. I was also unable to talk to a live person at the listed phone number... not good!

I recommend that you remove this from your sites ASAP.

I will give an update as soon as I hear anything.

8:24 p.m. Central time still getting a Whois site.....

I fully Agree best to pull the site until someone figures out what is going on... Their host may have dropped them if there were spam complaints. The Registry domain would remain active as them being the owner and being paid...

This just gets "curiouser and curiouser." ???

Since all of this started, I have received an additional 2 e-mail messages, one for a downline sign-up and one for a 3rd level commission. Somebody somewhere is getting through to them!

This is all new to me!

Both Tom and I have made contact with the owner.... though haven't heard back yet. Lets hope we aren't getting "blindsided" by this company. It is still early to start blasting them. They have been good up till now so lets try to give them the benefit of the doubt till they prove us wrong...

In the meantime, we will do some pre-screening and looking at a couple of possible replacements... Just so we will be ready if needed.

Erich

PS: Sandi, would you please also make contact with Mike since you had a relationship and were working with him before we added them to Tops...

I just heard back from Michael and this is what he said:

There was a minor error in transferring the domain to a new registrar.
The old registrar seems to have put a temporary page while the new
registrar takes over. Also, there will be a slight delay for some
users due to DNS propogation issues. We are very sorry this happened.
However, also included in this maintenance, is a new server. So much
less down time and slow response will be encountered. Thanks a lot.

So it looks like it should be OK shortly. :D

I have transfered domains. It is a long drawn-out process. I am glad that is all that has happened.

I will add them back on my site once they are up and running. :D

He still has not responded to any of my previous emails or voice mails

When I call the telephone number listed the message says

Welcome to the private number.com mailbox......

No mention of the company name Ignotius.

I too recd a message similar to Sandi so sometimes these transfers can take 48-72 hrs. I guess we are just going to need to be patient until the transfer happens.

I received an additional message from Michael which said, in part
Hello, we are VERY happy that we got everything back up. The downtime was horrible and could not be avoided. I deeply apologize and thank you for continuing to work with us.

i saw that but they put gasoline on it, the ppl killed by shc were not believed to have been soaked in gasoline or a combustible

There was no gasoline used in the demonstration that I saw. There was a clean piece of cloth wrapped around fat.

Thanks for sharing.
