Bill
Let me know if you have a specific question about the template and or the html code, Once you get through the first few post to the left, right, and center sections it does get easier.

Michael,
I realize I have a mac and things may look different from where I sit, but on my machine, your column toward the end of the page goes down a long way without anything to the side of it. Once I had that problem and it turned out to be my right column - not the 3 column area - that sort of slipped away from the side and ended up where yours is. Is it just my browser? Can anyone else check for Michael?

Hi Bill, Jim is correct in that you can simply click on where you want to add the text and then add it by copying and pasting it from somewhere else (from a Word document for example). If you ever have any questions regarding NVU, I'll be glad to help Sandra

Hi Jim, I'm in phase 1 right and I have my website that I subscribed from TOPS and Erich helped me set-up in Ipower and I would like to edit that site for Phase 2. The website is www.moneytoweronline.com. I can edit the said template as you mention above using html editor, but I would like the website I mentioned to be edit or add more messages that was made by Erich and maybe more links like google adsense, radisson and ebay. Also where can I download the free WYSIWYG just to compare which I'm more comfortable using compare to HTML editor. Thank you again and I'll get back to this forum because I have to check my small one 'coz I heard like she needs milk. Luisvictor

hello bill cole here, i was just wondering should my site have everything filled in to more on to phase two, i mean if it has some empty ad cells is that alright and if the bottom of my site is kind of ragged that i am leaving open for more ads in phase two. the address is www.homeofficehome.com/test.html. i have a couple of more ads in the right column that i am working on in nvu that i have not transfered to the host yet.

Hi Bill,
Your site looks really nice. You've come a long way and have really learned a lot! As far as I understand it, you don't have to have them filled in. I would either wait for phase 2, or just delete the tables and add them back in after phase 2. If you're still in Nvu, it's so easy to add and take away tables by clicking on the red x. Just be sure it's the right one before you do it. I would save your page just before you take them away. Then if you click the wrong one and lose the whole collumn, you can just click "edit" and "undo". That will take you back to where you were before the blunder.

Looking Good!!
Bill you can also block the blank tables by placing <!-- at the beginning of the blank tables and --> at the end of the blank tables. This blocks them from showing up. look likes <! --tables--> When you are ready to add a new ad just remove the <!-- symbol down to the next blank table.

Hi Bill, your site is really coming on now, you've made so much progress it must be starting to feel like you are winning I think the next thing to add to your site will be a nice header graphic at the top. The wording is OK but nothing beats a nice graphic at the top, I think the Free Sofa header I created would look nice on your site Go to www.theworkathomeindex.com/TOPSGraphics.html to see it. I can help you set it up if you want it, or any of the other header graphics, you can also put your own wording below the header, like Home Office Home. Just an idea. One other thing that you should do is get the three column ads all equal, with some small graphics in them. This is one of the things to complete Phase 1 also. You can use any of the small graphics in the three column ads on my site or Erich's site. To get the columns all equal you just simply need to change the width attribute in the table cells to 33%. Keep up the good work Bill, it's great to see your site taking shape. Regards, Jim
