Hello
I joined SFI a few years ago, never did anything with it. When I joined TOPS, and went to sign up for SFI, it indicated that I was already a member and sent me my login information and my affiliate link. That went (link) on my TOPS website. Now I have an affiliate sign-up that wants help and because I have not studied SFI ,I am unsure how to help. This is what he asked me: I am trying to set up my signature and everything and nothing seems to want to work for me for some ungodly reason help
If anyone can help,much appreciated.
My sponsor no longer is part of SFI
Thanks
Sheba

My sponsor no longer is part of SFI Thanks Sheba Below is the html code for a forum signature: [ url=http://www.yoursite.com] NAME [ /color][ /size][ /url ]
Note you will need to close the [ url=www. to [url=www. and the [ / ] to [/]
As to SFI:
You can see who is your immediate upline by logging into SFI then
1. in the upper right hand corner click MY ACCOUNT
2. This opens your account page
3. Locate the link MY UPLINE
4. You can contact them by e-mail (you may or may not get a response.
5. if you do not come here and post in the SFI Section. Many of our TOP's members are the top SFI Leaders and Sponsors.
6. Since it has been a while since you joined and were active with SFI I would suggest locating the Training Section and read through, a section or two at a time. SFI has made many changes in the last year or two.
7. Remember to come here and ask we will do our best to help.

Hi Sheba, Michael offers some good advice. If you haven't been through the getting started page do that first. This is where your affiliates will be starting, so having done it first will give you some insight as to where their questions are coming from. www.sfimg.com/Resources/GettingStarted.sfiMy guess is he is having problems setting up his signature file in his e-mail account. Depending on which service he uses, the set-up will vary. Here are the steps for a few of the more common ones: AOL To set up a signature for emails in AOL: - Select Mail | Set Mail Signatures from the menu in AOL
- Click Create.
- Give the signature a meaningful name (under Signature Name).
- Type the desired signature in the text field.
- Click OK.
- Close the Set up Signatures window.
Windows Live Hotmail To create your email signature in Windows Live Hotmail: - Select Options from the Windows Live Hotmail navigation bar.
- Click Personal e-mail signature under Customize your mail.
- Enter the desired signature.
- Click Save.
Hotmail To create your email signature in Hotmail: - Select Options from the Hotmail navigation bar.
- Go to the Mail category.
- Follow the Personal Signature link.
- Type the desired signature in the text field.
- Click OK.
Eudora To create a new signature in Eudora: - Select Tools | Signatures from the Eudora menu.
- Right-click anywhere inside the signature window.
- Select New... from the context menu.
- Enter the name of the new signature.
- Click OK.
- Type your signature text.
- Select File | Save from the menu.
Outlook Express To set up your email signature in Outlook Express: - Select Tools | Options... from the menu in Outlook Express.
- Go to the Signatures tab.
- Click New.
- Type the text of your signature under Edit Signature.
- Click OK.
Yahoo! To create a signature in Yahoo! Mail: - Select Mail Options from the Yahoo! Mail navigation bar
- Follow the Signature link (under Personalization).
- Enter the desired signature in the text field.
- Click Save.
Things are always changing, so I won't guarantee these directions are all accurate... but it's a place to start. When he sets it up, have him send you an email to verify that it is working. One suggestion I will also offer is when you are communicating with ACTIVE SFI affiliates, include a link to the TOPS program in your own signature file. When you are contacting NON-ACTIVE SFI affiliates... Include a link to your work at home directory website. They may still be looking for something other than SFI. Tim

Tim thanks for the reminder on the signature post for the various mail listings...that one did not even occur to me..
Then that is what makes this a great forum!
