hi all i have a new free SFI Sponsor and i sent him the first email in the sfi series, but i recieved this email from him: Greetings New SFI Affiliate... I am delighted that you've joined my SFI team! As your SFI sponsor, I'm here to help you get off to a fast and profitable start. My success is tied directly to yours, so please don't hesitate to contact me to assist you with anything...anytime. One thing I like to do to help the newest members of my team, who have not made their "first" SFI purchase, is to give them a FREE gift certificate. If you're ready to get serious, I will send you an electronic $20 gift certificate you can use toward SFI's most popular products. If you'd like to take advantage of my offer, just send me an e-mail at info@workathomeworldsite.com. Include this message text and mention the gift certificate in the subject. Once again, welcome to SFI. I look forward to working with you!
where do i get these gift certificates? will it cost me $20? this is very out if the blue. your help would be greatly appreciated.

Dicey,
You actually purchase these gift certificates yourself to send out to those who decide to take you up on your offer.
Since you are advertising in your emails that you are willing to provide them a gift certificate then you are responsible for the cost of the gift certificate and getting it to them as you promised.
If you do not wish to provide this then you need to change your email accordingly. It is a great way to get people to upgrade as you are helping with their initial cost of upgrading. You can read about gift certificates in the Resources section of SFI.

Hi Simon, As far as I know, SFI does not send out emails offering gift certificates to your affiliates. Sending an offer of a GC would be totally up to you. If you did not send an email with a GC offer…then you got me quite puzzled??? Especially, since your email address is in the email. I thought maybe at first, your affiliate may have copied the GC sample letter that SFI provides to us to use and sent it to you as a way of asking you for one…but I just don’t know Sorry I couldn't be of more help...maybe you should contact SFI support. Simon, From your posting, the email came from you upline offering you a gift certificates, not from your downline. You send your email serie to your downline. hi all i have a new free SFI Sponsor and i sent him the first email in the sfi series, but i recieved this email from him: Greetings New SFI Affiliate... I am delighted that you've joined my SFI team! [/qoute] Roy

got it all sorted out, thank you all very much for your reply's. i emailed SFI and the conclusion was unanimous, im an idiot! apparently at some point when i was setting up my sfi account i just entered the generic sign up reply and i didn't read it carefully, it has a offering for a $20 certificate in it.

What if you send the money via paypal to the affiliates than through SFI itself? sandy

no you definitly do not want to to do that sandy! with the sfi gift certificate you can put an expiry date on them, if they don't end up using it you can resend it to another affiliate. if you send the money via pay pal they can just walk off with it.

Simon,
Glad you got all that sorted out. You certainly want to know when you are offering something! Gift certificates are a great incentive but you need to know you are offering them and be ready to send if someone takes you up on the offer. Nice to find all this out I know.
Sandy - yes - send as a gift certificate through SFI due to just what Simon has said. You don't just want to be sending $ that will not benefit you necessarily.
