;DHi Sandy
SFI has been around a long time. It is not a pyramid, which are illegal, it is the one of the best online businesses going. It is a great company to start working online with, because of the amount of support and training. As you know there is no obligation to buy anything. Simply look at your product pages and advertise and sell their products. If you want to you can sponsor their opportunity, but you don't have to. It is to your advantage to sponsor other people, but not a requirement. Pick one product that you would like to promote and start with that. The training is all there for you. You only have to go their training materials and read. Also go to their discussion board and read the questions and answers. Also ask questions.
Also to put your mind at rest a little more, I hope, let me say that none of the programs that Erich or others on this forum deal with are scams of any kind. They are all legitimate companies with excellent backgrounds.
I know this is a rather long reply, but I have been involved withSFI for some time as has most of the people on this forum, and it has been a great opportunity and learning experience. You really can't go wrong with this company.
Good Luck Nancy

Hi Sandy,
Nancy answered your question.
I will just add although I have only been in SFI for 3 months I have already received monthly cheques for the last 2 months. So there is no problem with the SFI opportunity

Just adding my two cents - I really like SFI. It is a solid company with a strong direction and I like and use the products they have available. I also like the fact that they let you join for free without any requirements. Of course, knowing what I know now, I would definitely up-grade to Executive Affiliate. But anyway. They have good products, many of which I order each month - and not because I have to.
My family has some allergies. I don't like to add extra chemicals to our home. SFI's Veriuni products are some of the best, environmentally friendly products we've tried and I like their vitamins, as well. You don't just pay a monthly fee when you up-grade. Your monthly standing order is actually a purchase of your choice. And you also get about 9 websites (gateways), and wholesale pricing, as well as an in-house auto-responder to contact your affiliates.
I've been introduced to the company you mentioned that is no longer around, in name, anyway. There was a lot of hype there, and people ended up contacting their friends and family, etc. That was a big turn off for me, as well. You don't have to do that with SFI. People come to you as you advertise, looking for a solid home business - like SFi. I don't see hype with SFI, either. They are straight-forward - not ashamed to tell you who they are up-front and what the company is all about.
Check out the many products and opportunities there. As you become more familiar with SFI, I think you'll appreciate and understand it better.

Hi Sandy, Welcome to the TOPS forum. SFI and Amway are not different in anyway. They are both legitimate and they pretty much work the same. SFI is a network marketing company just like Amway and many other compnaies who have adopted to the network marketing arena. SFI is a very solid company and has been around since the late 90's. They have many great products to choose from. They are also a part of the BBB in Nebraska: www.bbbnebraska.org/commonreport.html?bid=207000239Tal
