Hi, I am going to implement Erich's letter series for my new SFI affiliates.
I have a question though regarding getrepsone.
Is there away to add these emails to my autoresponder with out requiring them to opt in first? Since they joined SFI and are placed as an affiliate on my team haven't they opted in already for me to contact them?
I've seen this question in the forums but haven't seen a response.
Let me know.
Thanks as always:) Chris

Chris I set up my new SFI affiliates In the Global Group Send.
the email series is a Campaign. then i set up contact list for each day that someone joins. The first letter in the series I send manually. Included in that 1st email is a reminder to add the sfi email and my Global Group Send email address to their approved senders list. The day 3 email is the first one to go out from the Global Group Send system.. If they go EA before all the email are sent out then I remove them from the contact list. I also have included myself in each of the list. This way I know that the emails did get sent.

You send the messages through getresponse or SFI email?
My question is if they can be added to my getresponse campaign with out requiring them to confirm via getresponses opt in manager...

Chris, Global Group Send is a different autoresponder that is offered by the Leaders Club for about $10/month. The drawback of using GetResponse is that they require everyone to opt in again, so even people on lists you already have (such as your SFI affiliates) would have to opt in again with GetResponse before they could be added to that autoresponder. Global Group Send does not require another opt-in, which is why quite a few people here use it for emails sent to their downlines in various programs. For further information on the pros and cons of these autoresponders, see the following thread: erichw33.proboards53.com/index.cgi?board=adsmark&action=display&thread=1173000228Troy

Thanks Troy. I will have to check out the pros and cons as this seems to be a pretty big con of getresponse. What is your recommendation?
