Yesterday I reached my second goal I set when I started the 3 phase profit program.....sort of.
As some of you may recall my wife has recently become sick and the recovery process has been difficult. It was difficult for her to work her full time job and get healthy. But due to student loans and bills that needed to be paid she needed to work. My second goal was to earn enough from my website to take the pressure off her so she can quit her job and concentrate on getting healthy.
Well yesterday when she went into work her boss told her that due to a reduction in work load in the business they no longer require her services. Normally this would have been a stressful day - but since I am now earning more off the site than she was earning at work the news, and severance package, were welcome news.
So for those of you keeping track at home:
Goal 1 - become top 10 sponsor in SFI and reach the Presidents Club = reached March 31, 2006 (still waiting to hear from SFI but accoding to my calculations I qualify for the presidents club)
Goal 2 - earn enough so my wife can quit work = reached April 25 2006
Thank you Erich for all your guidance! Chris Stirling

her boss told her that due to a reduction in work load in the business they no longer require her services. Wow Chris! That's great news! She'll now be able to take all the time she needs to recover properly without the stress of work. Congrats! I can so relate to that story.... I was told the same thing by my boss last week of March I knew they were cutting out jobs big time as they had announced it in January. And I also knew that my neck was on the line since I worked for the hiring dept.... It's a no brainer that when they cut jobs they don't hire, so my whole dept was under a lot of stress. They did offer me another position: customer service at the call center!! I said no thanks and walked away. I've been okay so far cuz my boyfriend makes a comfortable amount of money, and I still do a few translation jobs here and there, so we're doing fine. The only negative thing that came out of this was that I had almost no money for advertising this month. I was # 6 in the Top Salers list in March and don't even know if I'll make the honorable mention this month LOL. So it's back to square 1. But stories like these keep me motivated, and starting in May I'll get back on track. I know I'll one day be as successful as people like you Chris, and everyone else who has posted a success story. It's just a question of time! Again Congrats Chris! ;D That was a really good story to hear Sandra

Congratulations Chris, that is very good news indeed on your achievements with your web site. All the best to you and your wife, who will now have a lot less stress to hinder her recovery. Sandra I can relate as well....I got laid off of a very good paying job (for my area) just over 4 years ago, which started me on this whole work online journey. I had virtually no warning though...I just went in at 7am for my usual 12-hour shift and was waylaid on my way into the building and dragged into a little meeting room, which lasted all of 2 minutes. I was home again by 7:15pm after expecting a 12-hour day. I was one of the higher salary employees so I was one of the first of many that year to get the axe despite having been there longer than most people. Nice, eh? Gotta love how companies just treat you like a number these days. I was out of work for 13 months since I couldn't find work in my field (IT), and finally took a less desirable customer service job somewhat similar to what you turned down...but at least it's for a repair shop so my electronics and computer technical training still gets used a fair amount, just not if I was actually doing more repair work like was initially promised when I was hired. I've been stuck in my rut there for 3 years now and hope to finally break free later this year thanks to Erich's program. My progress has been very slow but it's picked up a bit lately so there's still hope Speaking of which, I gotta run to my current Just Over Broke now Congrats again Chris, and hang in there Sandra...you'll make out fine. Take care. Troy

Chris, Thanks for sharing that with the forum. I am so glad your hard work is paying off and you are reaching your goals! I too can relate to your wifes recovers, I had knee replacement surgery in Nov, my husband and I worked together traveling the Nascar circuit and we were not able to return in February because I could not walk without a can yet. That left both of us unemployed. He found work after 3 weeks - pays peanuts, but at least it is a job, and we are almost starving, I work on weekends only right now as a receptionist, physically that is all I can do. But I believe in Erich and this program enough that I am putting my advertising on credit cards to get going. Anyway, I hope you wife gets better and I know it is a good feelng for you. Good Luck - now for Goal #3! Zeta

That's awesome Chris.
I know you've worked extremely hard to get where you're at and deserve every bit of what you've achieved.
Same story on my end. My wife is losing her job as of this Friday, but I told her not to worry about it because I was already increasing my advertising to have it doubled by the end of May. That will more than make up the difference and more.
The extra money is nice, but I really like seeing what effect Erich is having on others people lives like what has happened for you and others on the forum. I have never felt so lucky in all my life to be a part of this.

I want to congradulate Chris for this succes. I never knew what would be the outcome of Chris's online business since he joined PIPS on Feb. 11. 2005.
Today, I can proudly say that he has inspired me in many ways.
Thank you Chris for being who you are and I am very happy for you for achieving this level of success.
Your next goal, of course, should be to be full time at home yourself and live the life that you always dreamed of.
Erich, thank you also so much for helping Chris to get to where he is today. I feel really good because when I joined SFI back in 2002, my goal and hope was to help as many people in my team to be a full time income earner and live the life that they really want.
So having Chris achieve this kind of success, makes me feel very good.
All the best to you all and I hope that many people who read this can and will have the same success many of us here have.
Take care,
Tal

Sorry I didn't see this thread earlier, congratulations on reaching your second goal Chris, and what a turn up, serverance package too! Nicely done
It sounds like you've had some hard times and I'm glad it's starting to work out for you. I know that it'll be tougher now that you have lost some income, I guess this will spur you on to take your site to the next level!

Thank you everyone for your kind words. This has been so much fun and rewarding. And now to see that my success has inspired others just motivates me even more. It has been a week now since the "layoff" and life around the house is 100 times better.
Sandra/Troy /Zeta/Gary - I am sorry to hear about your loss of steady income jobs. I was shocked to read those posts and it just goes to show that none of us are all that different - so if I can do this so can anyone! The beauty of this program is once it is up and running we can never be "fired" - the income is a constant river flowing into our bank accounts.
Tal - you are right my next goal should be to earn enough to quit my job and it is on my goal list but I have a few stepping stone goals first that will get me there.
Mark - it has been fun watching your success. I see you are close behind in the SFi leader board - I can't wait to see you above me on the list!
I will keep you all posted when I reach my next goal. Chris Stirling
