After reading some other success stories, I thought I should post the verdict on my experiences for the month of June. Up until now, I've kept pretty quiet because I didn't feel I had anything to say that would help or inspire anyone. I certainly couldn't match the success levels of certain "high flyers" but then it dawned on me that being in profit and expecting to stay that way is actually a success story. For reasons I won't bore you with, I have done little work throughout June and didn't even make notes of my daily income and spending but my Clickbank results didn't look pretty and, knowing that June is a quiet month anyway, my expectations were not high. As it's 1st July, I just did the figures for June. I don't yet know the amounts for Empowerism or SFI commissions but I know there will be cash to come from them. From Clickbank, AF etc the earnings were more than the cost of hosting and advertising. I think that counts as another successful month!

Congrats Elaine!! Any month where you make more than what you spent is indeed a great success! I'm sure there are many more months coming your way where you'll be making even more Thanks for sharing! Sandra

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity Elaine. Most success stories start small. Now you have something to build on. Keep up the good work.

Hi Elaine, Clearly you've already broke through the barrier and are now in profit mode. I guess you just need to do more of what you're doing and you'd be right up there with the 'high fliers' Regards Ant

Hi Elaine, It sounds like a success story to me…any profit counts as being successful. Keep the momentum going and your profits will grow and grow! Congrats on your success and wishing you much more! Lori

Great job Elaine, I know there just isn't enough hours in a day sometimes to do everything but it is always fun when you do add it up and you are ahead. Thanks for answering my email in January and leading me down the right path! Zeta

Zeta,
I just looked at your site to see what it is that has you making money so fast. Congratulations on your warp speed success. You must have some magical touch I will never have.
Anyway, I noticed there is a piece of html code showing on the top left corner of your page. I wondered if you clean it up if you wouldn't have less extra space above and below your title.
Just though you might want to know.

Debbie,
Thanks for letting me know about my website. I just put the picture of my house on there the other day.
I have been working on a new site and hope to have it done in a few days, then I will replace that one. I never have liked the header.
As far as a magical touch - no that is not it. I was determined. After reading Erichs 3 Phase emails over and over, I started at Phase 1 suggestions and just did everything Erich says in those emails. And a lot of it.
And I am doing some local advertising in papers, hading out fliers at colleges, posting ads at grocery stores, Erich, the moderators and leaders of the forum can correct me if I am wrong, because I am so new I don't feel comfortable giving advice, but if you just do a small amount of advertising or one source, you will not get enough visitors.
Don't put all your eggs in 1 basket - you have to do more than just ppc. It is hard and overwhelming and hard to keep track of, but if you get your site out to enough places you will get enough visitors to make money and be more excited to do more of it.
If you do a little bit each month and loose money you will just get frustrated. So please keep reading Erich's emails till you really get it.
I have not mastered SFI or BU. I send the emails. SFI - I have 3 EA's and just seem to be stuck even though I get affiliates daily.
BU - I respond with emails and have gotten no signups. So after I get my new website up and running at I power then I will concentrate on these 2 problems.
I know there are lots of great tips on the advertising section on the forum and they have helped me tremendously. Good Luck and don't give up!
Just promote your website everywhere! I didn't post what I did to make anyone feel bad or think I had a magic wand. I know you can do it.

Hey Zeta...
Would you mind sharing what your fliers look like or say?
Thanks Sharon

Hi guys & girls. I think we can also benefit from using mispelled keywords in a few select ppc's. Even if you get 50 or so from a search engine, when you use alot of them, you can definately get some good numbers. I havent had time recently to devote to advertising but after seeing yere successes on theis forum, I now know success is definately possibile

Hi Bill,
sounds like you've got a lot on at the moment. Don't get discouraged by the fact that the technical side may be slowing you a bit, most of the success stories here are from members who didn't have a clue about web design when they started. They also didn't find success overnight.
Keep your spirits high and your enthusism topped up. I guess it's a bit like re-building New Orleans, as one big task it seems daunting and tiresome, but by working together with others that are re-building and breaking it all down into smaller tasks, moving at a speed you feel comfortable at, you will slowly see it all coming together.
There is no time limit here, I don't see the Work At Home business going flat anytime in the next 100 years, unless the world suddenly changes and gives everyone more money, more time and allows them to work at home.
By the way, I did return your email but I was slow to reply because I've been away. Hope you got it.
Regards,
Jim

Hi BIll,
It's OK to get side tracked now and again. As long as you come back. You have a lot going on and I give you a lot of credit for taking on this project at this time. You seem to be a man of strong mind and spirit. This will help you to achieve your goals.
You're doing great. Hang in there!

Good Day Bill,
Hang in there remember to take each section one at a time. Add the html and save. I wish I knew more about the NVU editior, but most are similar. The key is to get a section such as the left column, center, right ect. Build the foundation then come back and begin to make the minor changes one at a time. You will get there.
I know you do have your plate full, if I remember right you are in Long Beach, most people do not realize wht damage occurred to your city.
