To all of the new doubting Thomas's...This program does work! I joined TOPS about 5 months ago on a shoestring that was close to breaking!
My husband and I are on Social Security and a small pension. We had no savings after putting four children through college. I had been trying for over a year to get things started with a home based business and would earn $10 here $10 there but never more.
My main concern when I started TOPS was the investment I would have to make. I had no extra money. We were living month to month. I saved what I could, sold some things on ebay, had a yard sale (got rid of a lot of my husbands junk, that he still doesn't miss) and came up with the money for the 3 Phase Program. It took me two more months of the same to come up with the money for a domain name and hosting account. But by November I was ready to roll.
I had a pretty good what I needed to advertise. I knew I could not do PPC right away because of the money, but I didn't let it stop me from advertising by other means. I used flyers, business cards, online free advertising every day every hour, forums, Yahoo answers, any place I could get my web address noticed! I even took out a small ad in our Church bulletin, the priest put it in for free and ran it for a month.
After all this effort, an investment of only $250 total I have made that $250 back and cleared for the first time $100.00. To some this might not seem like much, but to me it is proof that this program works if you want it too!
Income tax refund comes soon, I have already earmarked $500 to start a real advertising campaign. Not much by some standards, but a fortune to me. It is a start!
Thanks to Erich and all of the people on this forum for their support and help. To a successful New Year to all
Nancy

Great story Nancy! I'm glad you were able to stick with it and make a nice profit. Keep up the great work and I'm sure you will be an inspiration to others who may not have a lot of money to start with. Persistence pays Great job! Gary

Hi Nancy,
I also have an extremely tight budget & advertising money.
I also have plans to use some of our tax return for advertising, then lets see what happens.
I think great things are going to happen in 2007 & I can't wait.
Wishing you the best success, Melanie

Nancy, That's great news, congrats on becoming profitable! Probably the most common concerns of any potential new member are the amount of investment required and how soon will they see profit. You are living proof that this system not only works in a reasonable amount of time, but that it can be done on a shoestring budget with the right amount of determination and hard work. Thanks for posting. Keep up the great work! Troy

Nancy ~
AWESOME! I know exactly how you feel. I lost money online trying to find what would work and would love to have that money back now to put into this program!
SFI/TOPS were my last try at making it from home. I can now say after going through 3PP and now advertising (at the minimal level) that I too am seeing a profit. It is nothing like opening emails saying you have made money.
I prayed hard for an answer and direction and God was gracious as always and led me to Erich through SFI which led me here. I could not be happier and I agree - THIS PROGRAM WORKS if you are willing to follow the plan and put in the time!
Here's to a great 2007 for everyone!

Thank you for sharing this very inspirational story Nancy! I as well know Erich's program works, but this forum receives a lot of visitors who do not, and sharing this news may help them find the courage to make that important decision to help them improve their lives as well.
Again Congratulations on your triumphs, and best of wishes on the many more to come!

A friend of mine is thinking about doing TOPs, but is also concerned about having the money to advertise. I showed her this post and she said it was very inspiring. She also said she is thinking about signing up for a clickbank offer on my site where they pay you to put an advertisement on your car ( http://www.thefreecar.com). That way she could use thet money she made to advertise a tops website. I thought it was an interesting idea.
Hey...there's a third star by my name...how did that happen?

Hey...there's a third star by my name...how did that happen? Eileen, You now have over 100 posts....the member level and number of stars increase with the number of posts you make, at least up to a point. I don't know if there is a standard member level above Senior Member or not. The exceptions of course are the Moderators, 3 Phase Leaders, and 3 Phase Managers, who were manually given these ranks by Erich based on various criteria that he considers, some of which is known only to him. There is a VERY old thread where Erich explains some of the criteria here if you're interested: erichw33.proboards53.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=1142113407&page=1It's interesting to note that this forum was just started last February, only a month before that thread was posted, and many of the members posting in that thread didn't yet have the titles that they have today. Thank you Troy. I was wondering about the rankings and what they mean. I don't think I saw it anymore. 100 posts already! I must ask way too many questions!. :-)

Thank you Troy. I was wondering about the rankings and what they mean. I don't think I saw it anymore. 100 posts already! I must ask way too many questions!. :-) Eileen I believe we all get our first 100 post in the first few weeks Most of us had no idea of what html was or that much about ppc, etc when we first begin 3 Phase and Tops. As you move through and learn, you to will be helping more or giving back to those who follow. With your early success with advertisning and marketing I am sure you will be helpful to many, some of us who have posted way, way to much and those who are trying to figure out what a keyword is... Thanks Michael. I'm hoping I will be able to give back more soon. I'm still feeling like there's a lot I don't know. I spending a great deal of my time learning and testing at this point. But I'm getting there. I do know what a keyword is! :-)

With the changes that come from the market, the internet, and the programs, there is always some work to be accomplished. Michael
