Hi all, Well, I wouldn't say I'm in the black yet, but considering I've only been in phase 3 for only about 3 wks now, I'm averaging about 10 signups a day.To me, this is huge! I don't have much money for PPC, ($300 per mo) I've done alot of free advertizing.I'm starting to see how all this hard work is going to pay off. I love it when I go to my mail and see Erich's name. ;D So far, I've made back almost half of my ad costs. I know this is baby steps, but to me, I'm very happy so far. Thankyou Erich and all of you for your fantastic guidence. Pat

Hi Pat!
I was looking through all of the previous posts in this part of the forum and thinking to myself that I can't wait until I can post here. In fact, I would encourge everyone to post here any of their successes because that helps us who are in the middle of the process stay motivated, as well as any new people who might want to hear from the newbies to see how they are doing.
Thank you for sharing. I have been one of those people who have spent THOUSANDS of dollars trying all kinds of different programs. Nothing was even remotely successful. When I came upon this, I knew that based on what I read on the forum (and I think I read every post!), that this was real. Real people like you and I, doing this and making real money. I also know that it totally depends on the amount of time and effort I am willing to put into it.
I have always said to my family, that if I could find the right avenue, and put the amount of effort into it that I do for my J.O.B., that I would be able to 'call in rich' one day. I truly feel that with Erich's willingness to share his success, and be a mentor for all of us, is the way that this will happen. And now more than ever, I feel that it will happen sooner, rather than later.
I am so happy for you! Keep plugging along. Use any and all resources to get the site out there. I know that is what I will be doing once I have been approved to do so.
Take Care, Sharon in St. Louis

Thanks to both of you, Yes, this is the program to be in! And to all the newbies to TOPS, I still consider myself one.Don't second guess what you read in this forum. These are the most giving and understanding people I have ever had the pleasure to work with.Their knowledge is endless.Just take it in like a sponge and you'll never regret it. Relatively speaking, the startup costs are minimal compared to what you'll get back. I came in without a clue and now realizing I should have done this yrs ago.The biggest investment is your time.I can't work outside the house now due to injury, so I do have the time as I know many of you don't,but just plug away at it and don't give up.Learning all of this at times I wanted to throw my computer out the window. Thank god I just walked away for a few minutes.Erich's instructions may sound foreign at first, but the fog will clear. i still have probs some times but these people here always show me the way. Keep your head up and you'll be amazed at what you can do.My self confidence has grown by leaps and bounds since I started and continues to do so. This really works!
Keep on pluggin' Pat

Congrats Pat on being off to a good start! We are getting into what is probably the slowest time of the year too when many people are spending their money on vacations and so forth, so now is a good time to start small and test and tweak your site for maximum profitability, then when the fall gets here you'll be ready for it ;D
It does take a lot more time and effort to be profitable using free methods, but with the right amount of work, patience, and determination you can certainly make a profit this way. As you begin to make some profits in this manner, you can gradually increase your advertising budget and expand to paid methods such as web site ads and PPC as well. Keep up the great work!

Hi Pat,
I am so happy for you. I have felt, and still feel, that this is the best forum on the internet, and I belong to quite a few.
For all the new people who might read our success stories, Erich has given us the direction to go, there are thousands of mentors with this forum giving their time and expertise.
This is what makes TOPS work, where others have failed.
I just wanted to get this said. So everyone have a great day.

Pat,
That is great news. Congratulations.
Taking baby steps is the way to go. Sometimes if you are too eager, you'll jump right in before you know what you are doing. It is much better to take your time and keep the pace slow and steady.

Hi everyone, Thanks so much for all you kind words, once again you all have encouragement and wisdom.I've been very busy working this program and all of this just makes me want work harder.I've started a to do list of things I want to accomplish in a day.Time management is a vital point I've learned from Leaders Club. So in a given day I might spend a couple of hrs on training, a couple on advertizing and some time on tweaking my sight and looking at stats,ect.....This has helped me organize what I need to do. Since doing this, my brain has started to clear and it doesn't seem so overwhelming. Although,I still have my probs popup,(right Troy?) haha I try to breathe my way through it. I know making it in this biz is all up to my input. And these small little benchmarks tell me that I can succeed. Nancy and Lori, you couldn't have said it better, It's words like these that help me through. I'm in a few other forums as well and they are nothing like the TOPS forum.Everyone here genuinely cares. Again, thanks for the kind words, back to work, Pat
