Good morning everyone! This question I am sure many of you know the answer to, but I don't. I want to get another domain name, do I host it on Ipower with my other domain name or do I have to get another hosting account? It seems to me that I do host in on my current account, but how? I know it is simple, but I need it cleared up as to how. Look forward to your replies, as always. Nancy

Hi Nancy, You should be able to host additional domain names on your existing iPower account and should not have to get a separate account, unless you somehow used up all the disk space and/or bandwidth allocated to your existing account (highly unlikely). Note that the iPower plan recommended by TOPS allows up to 6 domains to be hosted on a single account. This package is the one that is normally $7.95/month, but appears to actually be on sale for $5.95/month at the moment if a 12 or 24 month term is paid in advance. See the following link for more details on this hosting plan...you'll notice in the opening paragraph that it mentions the ability to host 6 domains with just 1 hosting package: www.ipower.com/webhosting_proplan.htmlAs to how this is done, I'm not currently doing this so I can't say for sure, but it seems to me that someone at iPower support once told me on the phone that your additional domains would each have a subdirectory created for them inside your current account, while your primary domain name uses public_html as its home directory. Any additional domains would share the disk space and bandwidth allocated to your iPower account. That was over a year ago though and I'm just going from memory, so I recommend calling iPower or otherwise contacting them for confirmation and to get this set up. Their phone number for North America is 1-888-511-HOST (4678) and more detailed contact info can be found here: www.ipower.com/about_us_contact.htmlI recommend directing any domain or web hosting inquiries to iPower, as they have 24/7 support available and are the best ones to answer questions of this nature. Hope this helps. Troy

Thanks Troy,
This does help, I will contact IPower and get it set up. I thought it could be done, just wasn't sure how.
Thanks again, Nancy

As a follow up to this since I am doing it also,
Once your account is transitioned to the new servers you will be able to purchase new domain names in the Vdeck.

Michael I do not believe the terms of service change. The changes should be cosmetic for the most part. Maybe a new bell or whistle or two. Michael
