Hi there,
I have made some bad mistakes trying to write some HTML(!) but it just became a mess.
Can I download the website from vDeck to restore the old files?
If not I have to do the whole job all over again.
I think I give up! :-)

Hi Per,
Winners never quit! I know things can get frustrating at times. When this happens it is best to walk away and do something else for a while.
You should always have a backup copy of your index saved. Name it indexbackup or whatever works for you. What you can do now is, start a new page in NVU. Click on File then Open Web Location. Type in the URL of your site and click on the Create button. This will download your active site into NVU and you can start again.
You'll get there Per!

Hi Lori,
Thank you for your excellent advice!
I didn`t mean "I think I give up" :-)
Thanks a lot.
From now on I`l have a back up.
I should know as I am a former computer/PC salesman and we always stressed the back up thing! ;-)
Now I know too! :-)
Have a great day!
Warm regards,
Per

Per, I always keep a copy of my index in my saved documents for NVU. I call it indexbackup. I also put the indexbackup on vdeck. This way I have a copy in two different spots. It has saved my bacon more than once let me tell ya Cindi
