If you are working in NVU, you first have to save the image the same way you would any image. Then go to format, Page colors and background, choose file, and go to where you saved the image.
Then be sure and upload the image to vdeck, so that it shows.
If you decide just to change the background color go through the same steps only use custom colors, and choose the color you want for the background.
Hope this helps. Nancy

I have moved your thread to the Designing & Developing Website board of the forum, which is the best place to get help with HTML and other technical web site development issues with your site. Please don't post in the two FAQ boards, they are for reference only and there is a 'sticky' note at the top of each to that effect. Thanks. The two FAQ boards are FAQ- Frequently Asked Questions and Website Creation Tool Kit. To change the background from a solid color to an image, you would generally modify either the page properties using your HTML editor (which modifies parameters inside the <body> tag), or else the CSS properties for the body element. In your page's case, your background is implemented via the inline CSS style code inside the <head> section. Search for the following section of code: body { background-color: #FFFF99; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000; } The background-color: #FFFF99 section I indicated in red specifies your page's background as a shade of yellow. If you wish to use an image instead, replace this section with the following: background-image: url('image.jpg')Replace image.jpg in the line above with the name of your image file, and include the path to it if the image is not stored in the same folder as your web page file. Also be sure to leave the ; at the end of the line and to include the single quotes ' around the image name. Regarding the header image, you can create anything you wish and replace it if you are handy at creating graphics. For some recommendations on various graphics editing programs, see the following thread and others that it refers to: erichw33.proboards53.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1190122811&page=1Note that you don't have to make your own images from scratch however....there are many web sites such as www.bellsnwhistles.com that provide free, ready-made images, and many people here have created their header images using a site such as www.cooltext.comHope this helps. Troy P.S. Thanks Nancy for the steps using NVU...I had started replying to this earlier but got busy with work and didn't see your post until now after I refreshed the page.
