Hi, my name is Mais.I am a single mother of 3 and with the high cost of childcare I am looking to make an income on line so I am able to be home with my kids.Alot of the paid survey ads sound great, but I am scared to pay the reg. fees cause I can't afford to get ripped off.I don't want to start my own website or business on line, I just want to make money working for a legitimate company that actually pays. Is this possible? After reading some of the Q & A's throughout the forum, am I getting in over my head? I don't know anything about URLs, HTML, posting things on websites.I assume that when you sign up with a survey comp. you log in, fill out profiles, answer surveys, and get paid. How complicated is the process and can you earn decent $$$$. $50-$100 a day.To earn that much money do you half to sign up with more than one survey comp., or, provided I apply myself to their process, can I make that with just one survey comp. Please help me understand how it all works. Thank you.

Mais, You need to sign up with one of the major survey companies like Survey Scout and then sign up for numerous surveys with them. They will list whether you get prizes, cash, points, etc. so you can know which ones do which. As far as how much you can make per day - not sure - maybe someone else can answer that one. I do know that the more detailed you are in filling out your profile for each of them and the quicker you get to them, etc. will help with you getting surveys. You can also sign up with more than one company but my advice would be to sign up to one large one and give it a try if you do not have the funds to sign up with bunches and take the risk and time to get things moving.
I did surveys for awhile and you will find out quickly the ones that you want to be sure to complete and you will see that the more you complete it seems the more you get. I kept a log/spreadsheet of all that I had signed up with and checked in often to see where I stood with them. I ventured out rather quickly with my website, etc. and just don't have time for them anymore.
Hope this helps some. Others will answer the money issue I am sure. Good Luck! Robin

Hello Mais,
I'm glad Robin wrote to tell you of her actual experience. That's very helpful. I will also tell you that most of us on this forum aren't concerned with survey work, as a general statement. We are more focused on TOPS, SFI, etc. With these opportunities, you will be working with HTML, URL's, all the things that are scary for you. Although we have learned, and are continuing to learn with these opportunities, this isn't something you will need to be concerned with if you're just simply working with paid survey opportunities.
With surveys, you will give the company your honest information. Then they will send you surveys that you fill out, again, as honestly as possible. It's that simple. Go to a survey company on one of our sites. You will find Survey Scout and others. It's important for you to find quality survey companies that can be trusted, or you may not make any money at all. I would not just go out on the net and search for survey companies, if I were you. Rather, go to one of our sites, and sign up for one of the recommended paid survey companies.
I wish you the best and think you have a worthy goal! Your children will be so lucky to have you!

Hello Mais, not to be discouraging, but I tried several "free" survey companies. My experience is if you get something for free, you will probably work for free! I did hundreds of surveys for points but it takes like 10,000 points to get $10 cash. Most surveys I qualified for was for 50 to 500 points. If you add that up it takes a lot of time to get the $10, then they won't pay until you get $50 to $100 in your account. I have heard paid programs like Survey Scout are much better, and like Robin and Shawna posted you can visit their info page on any of our sites.

Mais,
As Robin and Shawna have said pick a solid company. I will say you can make money with Survey Scout. About a year ago I tried them out for a week or two test. I did make some money. I picked several that did pay cash, and a couple that offers either coupons or rebates for doing the surveys. over the two weeks I made a couple of hundred dollars for about fifty surveys. I did it to determine if they work (survey programs), they will work, if you will treat it as daily work.
Shawna kinda hinted at it but you can also make an excellent income getting involved in TOP's and offering your own work at home directory.
This is a great forum to learn from... You might want to look at getting the Survey Scout or other program, begin their and look at joining TOP's and work into this business ober time.
