I'm getting an average of about 60 web visits a day, mostly solid targeted PPC visits. I know that's not enough, and I'm working about 5-6hrs a day trying to increase it. (Seems like a loosing battle, but that's a different story)
The problem is, I'm only getting one or two clickbank sales a month. Is this normal? I was wondering if someone could check out the clickbank ads on my webpage to see if the ads themselves could be the problem. Also, could there be something wrong with my links? They don't, horror of horrors, go to someone else's account do they?

Not sure what your CB name is, but if it's a take-off of your website name, it goes to your affiliate link. Also noticed that your site is already ranked PR 3. Keep up the good work. Isn't the 11th commandment Thou Shalt Not Get Discouraged?

I think at times most of us will get discouraged. The ones that make it are the ones that overcome the discouragement and triumph.
Keep up the good work Debbie.

Is it, Sandi? I'm a great sinner, then, and in need of revival. Discouragement is one of Satan's most effective tools. He uses it often because it works so well. I remind myself of that several times a day. There are lots of Bible verses telling us how to deal with Satan and what God's plan is for us. Learning them and repeating them over and over is remarkably helpful!

Debbie - on average for items priced below $50 you can expect a conversion rate of about 1-2% so with 60 visits a month you need to determine how many of these visitors are clicking on your clickbank links. (This is difficult to do as I have not been able to find a way in Clickbank to find how many clicks I generate on my CB links) If you can determine that number you can determine if you are in the average conversion rate.
So for example lets say out of your 60 visits a day ets say 16% of your visitors click on your CB links. So you get 10 of your visitors a day clicking on your CB links at a 1-2% conversion rate that would mean you generate 0.1- 0.2 CB sales a day. That means in a month you will should sell 3-6 CB poducts in a month.
So to me it seems like your site is working a bit below where it should but nothing major. to generate more CB sales continue working on increasing your visitor count.
I hope this helps.

Stirl and Debbie,
If you use AddFreestat s you can find the number of pageviewed for Clickbank on your exit/adsense option.

Survey Scout gives you the stats and breaks them down. My conversion rate so far this year is 1.5%, which apparently is fine. What isn't fine ( ) is the traffic volume. Sigh. 1.5% of not very much is even less!

Sigh. 1.5% of not very much is even less! I know just how you feel - still trying to perfect the art of forcing people to visit. I spent an increased amount on advertising during the last couple of weeks in March. On Monday 3rd April I had my best ever day for Clickbank sales - over $120 plus whatever Survey Scout sent direct via PayPal. I was so excited! I really thought I had, at last, found the key and just needed to keep on working steadily. From then on it went downhill but I was not discouraged: I was sure Monday was going to be a good day. Guess how much I earned from Clickbank on 10th April? Nothing! You can probably imagine the extent of my disappointment. I know in my brain that I have to look at the figures over the weeks and can't just take the odd day in isolation and, most importantly, I'm still in profit but that doesn't help the way I feel when I log in and see a bit fat zero! PS Thought I should just add that when my Clickbank sales are down, my SFI sign ups increase, so it's not all bad news.

I am trying to figure out what is going on lately with my sales as well. I was doing pretty good in March, my first month in phase 3. It seems like when April hit my sales in everything went down. Only four sales with Clickbank this month. I miss logging in everyday and seeing a sale or two (well not quite everyday). I am sure that it might be just one of those slow sale periods that will eventually pass.
Elaine, I don't know what it is but I get at the minimum of two SFI affiliates a day regardless of how well Clickbank does. But the one bright spot in this slow period is my first EA yesterday!

Hi Jason, Congratulations on your EA. My SFI Affiliate sign ups and Clickbank sales seem to be on either end of a see-saw so they can't both be up at the same time! I think overall April is slow and I just had a lucky blip last week. One of the sites I advertise with has just emailed me and mentioned in passing that traffic is slow, so it's not just us. Suppose all we can do is keep on keeping on.

Elaine,
I just find April to be very strange because I am not getting hardly any sales or leads. The only thing that is consistent for me is SFI.
For instance with Survey Scout I am getting similar amounts of clicks everyday that I did last month. Last month I had 7 Sales and so far this month none.
It would be a lot easier to deal with these slow times if so much wasn't spent on advertising.
Can't wait for next month! Jason

At least it's not just us! Our sales are down, but the traffic is about the same. We were beginning to think clickbank was on Spring Break We were complaining about our sales (or lack of!) this afternoon, when we realized that this time two months ago we would have been celebrating over the amount of sales we've made so for in April. Has anyone mentioned this program works ;D Hank and Dot

Oh My. Maybe it has begun to swing back up. Just checked my clickbank stats, and made over $100 in sales just while posting the previous message!!
Maybe I should post more.

Funny how some of usl seem to be getting different results but mostly it seems we are in a quiet patch.
April has been a strange month altogether - more ups and downs than a boozer's elbow.
A site I place ads with just gave me an unsolicited discount because traffic is so slow. Has everyone gone on holiday for Easter? Does anyone know if the couple of weeks pre-Easter is usually quiet?

Business always has it's up and down swings and usually comes in waves.
The key is to flow with it and keep making adjustments to determine what works best. When you make a major change on your website or in advertising... you must give it time before making a decision if it is helping or hurting.
I try to be patient enough to wait at least a week or two for each big change I make...
April is usually an avg month for sales... neither high sales nor low...
It is going to be very slow thru this weekend.

Traffic and profits for me have been right at the averages so far this month. Clickbank has remained constant with the exception of last Sunday when I didn't make any sales.
I normally average at least 2 sales a day but was the first time in a very long time that I didn't make at least one sale in a day.

I have been getting at least one survey sale each day, mainly surveys2. What I have noticed is that I have only received one sale pertaining to typing.

Have faith that your sales will be higher in the near future.
The one thing that keeps me going is having patience, faith, and the believe that I will succeed.
Lack of Money isn't helping me, but I have lots of faith that I too, will become full time one day and I strongly believe that the next coming months will be a huge positive change for me in the online business world.
Never give up guys and ladies. Better days will come YOUR way.
