Thanks for the update. I had just checked them this morning when I was making a couple updates to my site and they were up.
I hope they aren't gone for good.

Thanks Paul… I just replaced all of ‘dtsecrets’ last night with ‘typehome’ because Lori G posted that is was not working (btw...thanks Lori). Now, I guess we need to either replace ‘typehome’ with “paidextras or 1stathome”. I couldn’t find dtsecrets listed at CB anymore (just like dataproz)…so I wouldn’t wait too much longer to see if typehome comes back…just a thought. Lori

I really wish ClickBank would notify us of these changes like AF and BizOp. Now I need to change links again.
Thank you Paul Jesse

Hmmm.... well, Type At Home is still listed under the Money & Employment category.... so I'm guessing this is temporary... unless they haven't updated the list yet. I won't change my links just yet, but will keep a close eye on this.
Thanks for the heads up Paul!

You may all have this e-mail in your box, but just in case it go lost in spam filters or whatever:
This is from Type-At-Home******* This is Billy Briggs, CEO of Type -At-Home. Firstly, I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a devoted affiliate to Type-At-Home. It's becuase of you that we're one of the most successful websites on the net in our niche. But, I have some disturbing news... As you know our site is run through Clickbank, and we thank them for allowing us to do so. But, it seems that Clickbank has had a corporate shake up of some kind and it's going to have a huge impact on your personal earnings. For whatever reason Clickbank has taken Type-At-Home out of their marketplace. I just found out right now and I am just as surprised as you are. Meaning, all the traffic you're currently sending to the high converting Type-At-Home site is going nowhere, and you're missing out on huge commissions because of Clickbank's mysterious decision. Oh, we're not the only ones to have gotten the axe by Clickbank. It seems that they're shutting down all kinds of sites right now. Now, I know how accustomed you've become to the huge commission checks you've been getting from your Type-At-Home sales and I certainly don't want to see them disappear. Not to worry though, my company and I are on top of things. We're setting up a brand new merchant account and affiliate system right now. It should be ready in a matter of days. In fact, we're even going to be able to increase your commission per sale with this new system and it will be a totally seamless process. All you'll have to do is sign up, generate a new link and swap the new link for the old hoplink you're currently using. I'll let you know as soon as everything's ready, which should only take a few days. Again, thank you for your continued support and I hope to be sending you bigger commission checks than you've ever seen! If you have any questions please feel free to ask them. I will be monitoring this email and will answer them as quick as I can. Thank you, Billy Briggs CEO, Type-At-Home.com

Thanks for the info Paul. It seems that we have to be on top of things all of the time and checking our clickbank links on a daily basis. It is just too bad that Clickbank does not inform us in anyway that an offer no longer works.

Thanks Michael…I received that email also…I had a feeling it wasn’t coming back!

I would suggest going to Clickbank Marketplace and searching for the programs you are using. Looks like this is a pretty good cut for whatever reasons clickbank has.

This may or may not be worthwhile info, but a quick and dirty Google-search of "type at home jobs + scam" came up with a whole bunch of disgruntled people. (I did that kind of search before I joined SFI and didn't find anything. That was one of the reasons why I joined.)
I understand that sometimes people are dissatisfied with what they buy or get into and it is not the fault of the product. On the other hand, if there were that many problems, perhaps Clickbank decided to get as far away as possible to avoid being sprayed should "you-know-what" hit the fan.

I was looking a clickbank for replacements and found Profit Monster and Moneybank.com. Any comments on either of these?
What have you replaced with?

I bought Data Proz before I started promoting it and was satisfied with the information it provided. Frankly, people often don't read the sales letters which do explain that this is not a typical data entry job. Is it a spin on data entry? Yea, I'd have to say it is but my refund rates are also pretty low on these products so I would imagine that it's the people that don't fully read what they are buying are the ones that call them scams. Everyone here does exactly what these products tell you how to do - run ads that drives people to a website that makes you money. For someone that has never done anything advertising online I believe it is valuable resource. Just my 2 cents. Everyone needs to make their own decision on what to promote, but I sleep well at night. Gary I understand that sometimes people are dissatisfied with what they buy or get into and it is not the fault of the product. On the other hand, if there were that many problems, perhaps Clickbank decided to get as far away as possible to avoid being sprayed should "you-know-what" hit the fan.

I bought Data Proz before I started promoting it and was satisfied with the information it provided. I almost bought it myself, and then decided I wouldn't have time to give it a fair shake, so I wound up not buying it after all.No doubt that is definitely a factor. If the product was a true rip-off, the refund rate would be sky-high.

Thank you Lori and Michael for keeping us up to date on this information. I had 2 links not working. I shudder to think of the lost sales I never recieved the email from Billy Briggs - Thank you for posting it here. I don't know what I would do without this forum! For those of you that did recieve the email may be reply to him and ask him to post in this forum to keep us in the know. I notice that Type-at-home link in the CB marketplace is now directing people to Paid Surveys Ect. Make sure if you are still promoting Type-at-home your site explains it is now a survey site and not a data entry. For those looking for an alternative I have had very good results with Home Data Typers. Chris

Thanks for the reminder on the change of wording cause My type at home had become a Paid surveys etc.
I did send billy Biggs a e-mail about the forum and that he might want to post here as they work through their situation.

FYI
Paid Surveys Ect is a site owned by the owner of Type-at-home. Yesterday I replaced dtsecret with Type-at-Home and noticed this on their page. Both programs got a back room now like Survey Scout does for conversion tracking.
I drop Type at Home about 3 weeks ago, due to not being able to get it to load my personal PC (it is something doing with my security, but don't really know what it is).
I think Click Bank either drop these few Data Entry Company for this reason of because of their higher then average return rate. Notice they did not drop all the Data Entry site.
Just my opinion.
Roy
P.S. paidfor is also a survey link now.

Just received another e-mail from Billy Biggs: Look like the PaidSurvey site is his....but read for yourself.. It's Billy again, been a heck of a day. First Clickbank shuts down my site. Then, with a huge stroke of luck I get a hold of one of the Clickbank execs and he saves our butt. Yep, Clickbank has allowed me to redirect all the traffic you're flooding in to Type-At-Home to another complementary offer. You can view it below: ==> www.paidsurveysetc.com/ All of your links are still working and directing traffic to Paid Surveys Etc. This is one of the top converting survey sites on the market. The salespage was written by the same guy who wrote the Type-At-Home salespage, so you know it converts like gangbusters. All you need to do is adjust your ads a little, that's it! And you'll still be making the same killer commissions you did with Type-At-Home! Like I said in my last email, I'm in the middle of building the infrastructure for an incredible system where you'll be able to come in and do exactly what you're so good at doing already, making m0n!ey! The great thing is that you be able to make so much more which higher commissions, new salespages, bonus override payouts and a whole bunch more. It'll blow you away. I'll send you the link to signup as soon as I can. Right now the most important thing to me is to make sure you don't suffer because of Clickbank's crazy snap decision to take Type-At-Home offline. So make sure to check out Paid Surveys Etc at: ==> www.paidsurveysetc.com/ Adjust your ads accordingly to ensure you make the maximum sales off the new site, which is converting at up to 6% for some affiliates right now! Then go and create your affiliate tracking account so you can track all you hits, sales, and commissions. You can do that here: ==> paidsurveysetc.com/affiliates.php All really easy stuff to do and will make sure that you next Clickbank check is even bigger than the last. Here's to your huge commissions, Billy Briggs CEO - Type-At-Home.com & PaidSurveysEtc.com

Okay guys… “1stathome” is being forwarded to a survey site instead of a data entry site. “paidextras’ is working, but I can’t find it listed at CB anymore. Keep on eye on it!…either to be forwarded to something else or to an error page. I might remove it anyway…just in case. This is getting crazy! Lori

This is driving me nuts! I just added "1stathome" to my site last night due to its high rankings and high $/sale. now it is gone with no notification!
If "paidextras" goes away........I will not be happy

I agree Chris. This IS crazy. I just changed a bunch of my links last night, and today they're all gone again. I echo the thoughts above, its a good thing we have this forum. I did not get that email from Type At Home. So I hope Michael will continue to post his emails so we know when and where to switch over to. Adam
