OK - here is a weird one - I sold 2 "paidextras" after Michael made this post. I have removed al the links from my site so this sale must have been from someone who signed up to their newsletter before yesterday. I also notice that in the Clicbank reports "paidextras" item number has changed from 002 to 005 for any sale made after 16:00 on Sept 18th.
Does anyone know what the item numbers refer to? I am assuming that 005 is a item that Clickbank no longer promotes.

Chris Hi Chris, I believe that those 2 sales that you got from paidextras are coming from the email that paidextras sent to people that subscribed to their newsletter. You may even get more sales from paidextras in the near future so don't be surprised. Paidextras is no longer available, as you may know. I would also want to point out to everyone here to check your site links on a daily basis( every few hours if you can) and come here to see if there are any recent changes to any of the clickbank links that we are promoting. It is not fun to change your links a few times a week since clickbank decided to take off these items off, but we have to be on top of things. Tal

I just received a letter from customer services that Type-at-Home was no longer clickbank client.. Nothing new there. I sent a reply to let clickbank know about the forum and the fact that it would be nice if they would give us some advance warning on the changes. Maybe they will consider coming and posting to the forum. I guess we will see.
I am going to ask, in the Better Universe forum, but has anyone heard anything from Better Universe. I have not gotten a letter in about a week telling me that #### people joined today.

Hi Chris,
I have searched the Faq’s and I can’t find what the item numbers represent. According to my reports…“paidextras” and “surveys2” have always had 002. “dtsecrets” has had 006 and all the rest always have 001. I don’t have any products with the item number 005...this is a mystery to me???

Here's what the numbers mean. The 001 is the first product that the vender has set up at CB.
If a vender has more than one product offered, they are numbered in sequence. To set up multiple products that have different sales pages, special software has to be purchase by the vender as CB only lets you enter one sales page per account.
I know this because I sell multiple products on CB.

Thanks Ken - that is good to know.
What do you sell on CB? Anything that would work in our WAH directory sites?

Thanks Ken…Now that makes sense! I wish each product has it own unique number so it would be easier to check the stats…like the amount of sales and refunds. Good Luck with your products at CB! Lori

Chris,
I sell a Bass fishing ebook and several health related ebooks. Nothing that would work on our WAH sites I'm afraid.
