Click Bank is not Listing ACV, my links are down and have been for a couple of hours. I went through click bank both in search and line by line "NOTA"

I did ACV search engine check on Google, most links were dead, all "Affiliate Join" links were 404. Would say ACV has bit the dust with Clickbank

Yep, looks like it's gone and only in the last few hours too!
I only just replied to a post asking about the link less than eight hours ago, before I went to bed last night, giving them the link and I had clicked on it to check before I did. ACV was there in all it's glory at the time, so you can imagine my surprise when I logged on this morning!
There's no better police out there than th members of this forum, it always amazes me how quickly things are picked up.
Thanks,
Jim

I recently added googlework to my site (http://xxxxxxx.googlework.hop.clickbank.net). I had 7 sales this month with no refunds. I would say this is my second best (after Survey Scout) converter. I have "smptrms" on my site for some time now and have not made one sale. I think I will give some of the other ones Erich mentioned above a try and see what happens. Lori Make that 8 sales. Got another one today.

Shawna and Lori, Don't you think your Clickbank sales are down because Type At Home is not with them anymore? If you ad the 2 together I bet it will be about the same if not more than you were with Clickbank alone. I am doing very well with Type At Home. Keep your spirits up!! You are both doing great for no longer than you have been in this. Just think how much you were making online 8 months ago - $0?

Erich, I just added the mml461.hop.clickbank.net to my site on Sunday. Have only had 1 sale so far, too early to tell yet. Hopefully it will do good. Zeta

I appreciate your avoidance of looking at the negative aspect of these short term CB attempts to improve their opportunity listings... Hey guys... Lets keep things more positive here and search for some solutions to the CB problems rather than focusing on these current challenges presented to us... The nature of a successful online business requires us to ride out the hills and valleys... Erich

Excellent advice Erich. I agree with Zeta somewhat. I am making a killing with Type At Home, but my Clickbank totals are dropping still. I went from $200-$300 a day, to $100-$200 a day after the Data Entry shakeout, now all of a sudden in the past few days I am down to $47-$150 a day with Clickbank.
I agree we need to find some good Clickbank products to promote. I will try those you recommended above and see what they do. Keep your heads up everyone and keep on moving forward. Adam

Adam Hi Adam, I know why your clickbank sales are down even though you have a large vistors volume to your site. Since ClickBank decided to take down a few of the so called bad products, their other products seems to not open up to a new page. What I am saying is that a lot of times during the day, many if not all of the clickbank products go to a 404 error page. See, if you use the xxxxxxx.PRODUCT.hop.clickbank.net links that they give you, it does not work. It seems like the companies that we are promoting have problems and are down most of the time. now, if you get a 404 error page from the xxxxxxx.PRODUCT.hop.clickbank.net and you go directly to the company page without using the HOP links, then their sites work fine and normal throughout the day. What does this say? Clickbank has some serious issues in which they are not adressing and this is making many of us very worried. If this continues, then I am considering taking all of the links on my site off and looking for companies that don't use clickbank, like Type At Home. Tal

Good to know Tal. I don't usually check my links during the day. I check them mostly at night and I don't see these problems then. I too like the idea of going directly through the companies themselves and shutting clickbank out. I signed up for Mint Jobs, a data entry site that has ended with clickbank, and it looks like they are doing the same thing as Type AT Home. They are working on their own site/program. Will post anything when I hear more on their progress. thanks, Adam

I assume part of Clickbank's attraction for the companies is the convenience of not having to deal with affiliates and customers etc. Some state on their website that they only deal with afiliates via Clickbank.

Tal,
That's very worrying information about Clickbank links as a lot of us rely heavily on CB products. I have noticed my BC sales are right down.
I'm going to keep a closer watch on CB. Could you post details of a couple of offers that don't work. Also, what time of day gives you most problems.
When I read your post, I clicked a couple of Clickbank links on your site (as the link was convenient) and noticed that you have some links that don't go anywhere, they just lead to a wierd looking page containing a bit of code. You also have ACV featured prominently and a link to what used to be (I think) Home Typers and that now redirects to a survey site.
I only clicked a few links at the top of the page, so there might well be other expired offers further down.

Hi Elaine,
It's all CB offers that don't work at some point. It's not the offers themselves, it's a CB problem.
I check on CB links on several of our sites and it never fails that the link goes to page not found.
I have some of my own products on CB and I receive notification that a customer tried to purchase a product, but CB was down.
If you usually sell a couple CB products a day, but CB is down when those people try to purchase, you just lost out on your sales that day.

Hi Ken,
Thanks for that. The problem is worse than I thought. It must just be sheer luck that I haven't come across this when checking my links, CB always seems to be fine. I have noticed recently that my CB sales have dropped right off, maybe this is why.

I would think this problem would effect more than CB sales. If someone visits your site and clicks on a few CB offers and receives an error page, they may assume the site is old or has invalid offers and just leave. Am I being paranoid?

No Lori you are not being paranoid. That is exactly what I believe people will do. I don't know about you, but when I go to a site and a lot of the links are dead, or have a problem I move on to another site. It's human nature. That why this forum is so vital. You get the latest information when it happens and are able to adjust quickly. Adam

Hi Lori, hi Adam, exactly that's it, what I am worried about too. We can't measure how many customers we are loosing this way. If I see a site with some more not working links, I would definitly not buy from them. Period. If this lasts, I will give some other programs a try, there are some good sellers which have some good reviews and a good standing with BBB or others out there.... Have a great weekend friends, Brigitte
