Several of us have posted about a drop in sales from ClickBank
since September-October.
Most of you of course are aware of the dropping of many of the Data - Type from home - and Survey style programs.
Some observations:
1. Most of the top programs being offered now through CB are focused toward people who are already involved in INTERNET
marketing.
2. This seems to imply that we might need to market to those people a little different than those who bought the surveys and typing programs. That marketing now might be more related to a follow-up item rather than an entry-level product.
(example: Someone buying Butterfly-Marketing may not even consider it as an entry product, but someone who is looking to improve marketing skills would).
3. My best sales period was the last two weeks of October, and came from sales to people in my autoresponder system, most of which are involved in some program, like SFI or other affiliate programs. I will say my October Sales were for the most part related to writing blogs or articles.
The sales came from links in follow-up emails, categorized as affiliate resources or added as a p.s. or in a signature file. Hint most sales were SFI affiliates and were not active in the main t-net.
4. Just about every program out there is now pushing affiliates-prospects to join CB. They are learning they can by pass the advertised links and purchase through their own links, and save 50-75 percent.
Overview: Sale to those you have in your system..SFI or BU or wherever you have contactable names. Do not leave out your SFI people who have never became active in SFI....
They are a good resource for follow-up items....
