Totally all of my AdWords traffic comes from the Content Network. It gets clicks but not "bites" meaning no sales or leads, meaning I lose money. Not major amounts, but it does add up - or down. 
Does anyone know of any way to find out which ads are showing on what sites?
It seems to be all or nothing with the Content Network. "Nothing" would reduce traffic but save money. "All" is just costing me money.
I used to have many more keywords, but they were eliminated because I was not willing to pay what Google wanted just to keep them in the running to be shown.

SAndi - I have just started to install Google Analyitcs on my site and it is too early to see the results but I am told that when this is installed you will be able to see what sites your ads are placed on and which ones converted to a click. Hopefully there is someone here in the forum who can speak more intelligently on Google Analyitcs than I can to help you with this.
Once you have that information you can stop your content ads and set up a site targeted ad campaign and only place your ads on those sites. Google used to charge site targeted ads by impresssion bt they have just added the option of CPC for site targeting
This can be a lot of work but getting yoru ads on targeted converting site is better than run of the Google network with low click rate!

I have been getting a few clicks a day from ads.cnn.com/yada-yada-yada-several-hundred-more-characters. When I click on the link that sent me the visitor, it is always a page of AdSense ads, 585x280 in size, and nothing else. My site is never on it as I think it rotates.
I decided to block it from Google and went on a few errands this morning. I came back to find 256 clicks on one campaign from the site I supposedly had blocked.  (No sales from those clicks either, of course!)  
I immediately paused ALL campaigns (as blocking sites is obviously a waste of time and totally useless) and tried chatting with Google. The person was very nice but also useless.
So I filed a complaint with them. That will probably go nowhere as well, but there is no sense in working on paused campaigns and I don't dare unpause anything!
So I guess I'll work on my free blogging exposure which I was going to do anyway, and try to get rid of all the eCommerce links, which I was not planning on doing! 
Sigh.

UPDATE:
Google's explanation for the spike in clicks was actually plausible! They said my ad must have appeared on a page that was featured on or linked to from a popular blog. That makes sense.
Unfortunately, their reason for not blocking all the traffic is not acceptable. Even though every one of the clicks came from "ads.cnn.com" they said I should have blocked just "cnn.com" in order for it to work.
And I am supposed to know that? Sorry, but being psychic has never been one of my God-given gifts.
Whatever, the clicks cost me about 3 times what I made back in AdSense from this fiasco. There was no other income from it.
My campaigns are all still paused and are likely to stay that way. My traffic is not significantly different, my income is not significantly different, and my outgo is less. I see no reason right now to unpause the campaigns.
I think I'll go work on SEO and blogs.

I have been out of touch, so I'm sorry this comment is so late. A quick way to find out where your ads are showing is in Reports. There is a "Placement Report" that you can play with, and export into a spreadsheet.
It's information that you can use to adjust your campaign.
