Hi everyone, I must be going crazy....I thought I had asked this already a few days ago, but can't find the post, so here it is again {I think } I am looking at becomming a member of adgridwork.com . Will I get penalized from Google for doing so? Is this the same idea as free viral or traffic swarm? They refer to themselves as 'free advertising' and a 'text link exchange network'. Is anyone familiar with this site? Thanks, Tammy

Hi Tammy,
I took a look at the site, and it looks good. You do have to put something on your site, since I don't use google I don't know how they would view this. But from what I can tell just looking at it is no different than any other type of reciprocal link. By definition, google could be construed by some as viral marketing. They are compelling others to buy from their ads that are place on your site. This is the same you are doing with this site, so here is what I suggest if you are still unsure.....
Call your google rep that takes care of your advertising? You don't want to mess with google, been there done that! Not a good thing.
It looks to be a good place to advertise, though.
Have a great day!

According to this blog.adgridwork.com/2007/adsense-compatibleby-default/ and this www.jensense.com/archives/2007/01/its_official_yo.html it should be OK. You might want to dig around Google or one of the Google forums just to make sure. Having confirmation from a Google site would be a whole lot more reassuring than confirmation from a third-party site - especially one that wanted me to use their service!

Thanks ladies!
I was thinking it looked good as well. I don't have a rep, but I'll be in touch with them any way. Thanks for the info., I'll let you know what I find out.
Cheers! Tammy
