Hi,
I have never once heard from my sponsor since I joined SFI and I don't want to be that type of sponsor but I am only just getting to grips with working at the programme myself, so I would appreciate some advice.
I have an SFI affiliate who immediately went through Smart Start and became EA (and maintained that status) and appears to be very keen and prepared to work. The problem is that she is currently on a very restricted budget and is working with free advertising resources.
Obviously, if she finds herself getting nowhere, she wil not carry on paying to remain EA and will probably give up altogether.
What is the best way (apart from giving encouragement) I can help her until her circumstances improve?

Elaine,
Are you a Team Leader yet? If so, you could create a Co-op and add this affiliate in it. This way, you'll be able to help her by giving her a few affiliates.

Elaine - Sandra makes a great suggestion. By placing this person in your Co-op you will build a downline for her and maybe even cause affiliates that she has sponsored upgrade to EA.
Another suggestion is ask her what type of budget she has. Once you find that out you can set up a series of steps for her to progress down. For example - if she can afford the Leaders Club $50 for training then that would be the next step. This will give her lots to do and keep her motivated. Once she can is ready you can then reffer her to the 3 phase training. This again will keep her motivated and potentially turn her into a team leader in your team.
If she does not have the funds right now spell it out for her what you suggest her next steps are (Leades Club, 3 phase training, website hosting ect..) and the minimum funds she would need. Remind her that these are teh exact stpes you took and so you know they work adn are money well spent. Ask her to do what she can to save up this amount and contact you when she is ready.

Hi Elaine, Thanks for posting this question. I'm actually experiencing the exact same thing myself, and was just about to post for advice as well! My EA's determined to make this work, but she is having financial trouble at the moment, and I too fear she will give up if she doesn't see some type of action soon. Sandra and Chris, Thanks for your excellent responses. I'll have to put those recommendations into action. My only question is about the Co-Op. I'm still working on getting my 400 visitors a day(I too am on a limited budget), so I'm not quite sponsoring that many affiliates through my website yet. Definitely not one a day, but only a couple a week. I'm not quite sure how much of a help that would be to her? Would it still work? Thanks so much, Jennifer

Hi Stirls and Sandra,
Thanks for the advice. I was thinking about the co-op idea, it seemed all I could do in a practical sense, I'll add her to the co-op I just set up.
The best plan I could come up with was to:
1. Add her to my co-op
2. Help her as much as possible with free resources
3. Tell her about the 3 Phase Training
I think the budget is virtually non-existent at present: my lady is talking about trying her hand at selling on e-Bay to earn cash to support her SFI project. Meanwhile she is working on posting free classified ads and trying to sell SFI products to relatives and friends.
Hi Jennifer,
I'm glad I "came out" with my question - thanks for confirming I am not the only one needing an answer to this.
I am nowhere near getting my 400 visitors a day but I am getting 3-4 SFI sign ups each day. SFI is definitely my "best seller".

I agree that at this point the co-op is probably your best bet.
I am still working toward the "magic 400" but am averaging 3-4 sign ups a day also. I have set up my co-ops according to stirls 1:1 ratio to see if that helps create more energy in my TNet.

The Co-op idea is the best I can offer for someone on a limited budget. Since implementing it myself this month I have another 2 EA upgrades and they are purchasing products as well. I STRONGLY urge people to purchase Leaders Club leads and become part of Erich's co-op. Those 2 methods yielded me over 100 affiliates in February much success, adam

With the leaders club leads did you just follow up with them on the phone or did you use the autoresponder? Joe The Co-op idea is the best I can offer for someone on a limited budget.
