Hello everyone -
I wanted to share this wonderful experience.
2006 was not a great year for me in most respects (except finding this program). Anyway - I have struggled through some tough things and just have prayed and tried to put it all behind me. Things pop up to remind me constantly of the hard times and I have had some setbacks, etc. but continue to know that God is my strength.
Anyway - here it is - the first Sunday of the new year. At church today our pastor spoke on Baptism and the renewing of our faith, etc. Then he said - "This is a new year, wipe the slate clean, and do everything you do to glorify God" ~ All of our hymns were relevant to this message. I felt like God was talking just to me through our pastor. I felt like He was holding me in the palm of His hand. I was literally moved to tears and couldn't even get through the last hymn.
For those of you that doubt, for those of you that think He doesn't hear your prayers, be patient. I wondered at times through my trials, but..... HE knew that today was coming and I would find that peace that surpasses understanding!
May God Bless each one of you this year as He blessed me today!

Thanks for sharing that, Robin,
I'm having a serious problem with fatigue, and am only good for about the first two hours of each day. It's great to be reminded that the bad times do come to an end, and God really does give us beauty for ashes etc.

Robin,
As I read your post I could not help remember the time when I went through a very difficult trial. The very valley I was going thru is the thing that taught me the great faithfulness of our Lord. There is a scripture that tells us to count it all joy when we go through various trials. These trials become our lessons in how to trust the Lord. I see an analogy to this in our business when we know nothing about HTML and thru struggle learn and actually produce a good product. The same when we go thru trials it is a struggle and we come out the other side stronger and more confident in the faithfulness of our God.
May He continue to guide you, and reveal His Awesomeness in your life.
Deb,
As the scripture says, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.
God Bless,
Ruby

Thank you Deb and Ruby!
The low times, the hard times, the "I don't think I will make it through time" have led me to where I am today and I know that it was Him who controlled all of this. I am so happy in my life now and He put those trials there to make me realize what was important in my life and to get me to realize it.
Hence my quote ~ "The will of God will never take you where the grace of God will not protect you" - I believe that now in my life more than ever.
May God continue to work in your lives each day and may you realize that our goal is to glorify Him!
