Hi everyone....just a note to let everyone know my dad passed away early Monday morning. It has been difficult, but he passed peacefully and pain free and we know he is with Jesus. You just never know how many people to expect at a funeral but he must have had a big impact on a lot of people, and 3 people gave their life to Jesus as the preacher spoke on salvation. What a way to honor him Could you please pray for strength for my mom during this time and for all of us who are mourning. Thank you Shelly

Shelly,
I pay my respects to your families loss. That is powerful, I have been in ministry for 18 years (Minister of Education & Administration), and the impact of having three people come to salvation is a great testimony and honor. I will have your family in our prayers.

Shelly,
Wow what a testimony to your dad's life. I certainly will pray for you and your family. There is a strength and comfort in Jesus that surpasses any comfort we can offer.
May His peace be with you all.

Shelly, I am so sorry. As they say, "been there, done that" and even when you know it's coming, it isn't easy. Knowing where he is really does help those left behind deal with the loss.
Of course you have my prayers. Give your mom a hug.
And what a testimony! Perhaps there were some heavenly angelic high-fives and jubilant shouts of. "YES!" as those 3 people became Christians?

Shelly,
I'm sure sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. I'm sure he will be greatly missed. I'm so grateful to know that this life isn't all there is. I pray for you and your family to have the strength to endure until you meet together again.

Shelly,
I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. I was looking at the site of a child artist "Akiane" last night, and she had a poem on there about the passing of children. I don't remember all of it, but it ended something like this.
"After they are gone the only happiness that is left is the knowledge that they are happy in His care, and that we will see them again. And we will."
I loved the abrupt way it ended "And we will."
You are in my prayers.

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss Shelley. I lost my father earlier this year and I know things are very tough right now, but they do get better slowly as time passes.

Shelly, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I had a similar experience a couple of years ago so I know how hard it is to go through. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers as well.

Hi Shelly, My families prayers are with you. We lost my Father 20 years ago this year and it still seems like yesterday. Speak of him often, Think of him frequently and he'll be with you forever.
