Prayer for a child with cancer

I would like to ask for prayer for one of my AWANA Sparkies named Maryha (pronounced "Mariah") who has had cancer in various places in her body for years. The doctors had to stop chemo recently because it was just to hard on her body. Unfortunately there is now a suspicious spot on her liver near her lung which they are going to try to treat with radiation.

This is taking a terrible toll on her family, as you can imagine. The family is not Christian, but their neighbors, who are long-time members of my church, are extending the love of Christ in as many ways as they can, including bringing Maryha to AWANA as she is feeling well enough. She loves coming and memorizing her verses.

Pray for her complete recovery and for strength for her family. She is such a sweet child.

It is hard for any body to have to go through the cancer thing, But it is a heartbreaker when it is a child. She will be in our thoughts and prayers.
