Hello everyone. In NVU when I add something it only makes my site 'longer', which makes the bottom of my site look empty. how can I fill up my site and continue to fill to the bottom, without making my site extend? Hope this makes sense. Shelly

Hi Shelly,
I had a smiilar problem and here is what Ken suggested:
"To bring up the bottom do this.
Open your file and use the find/replace function. Find:HEIGHT: 7539px Replace: HEIGHT: 100%
There are 3 instances of it you need to replace. On e at the top of the left column. One at the top of the middle main content table. One at the top of the right column."
Worked like a charm.

Hi Lori, I tried as you suggested and couldn't locate anything. I wonder if mine is different than yours? I'll try and locate it manually. Might take me awhile Shelly

Hi Lori, I tried as you suggested and couldn't locate anything. I wonder if mine is different than yours? I'll try and locate it manually. Might take me awhile Shelly Shelly, when you first posted this, I remembered that had been Robin's problem, and I looked for the same type of thing in your code. You're right - it isn't there!
So, I don't know what your problem is, but that isn't it. Hopefully Ken or Troy will be along soon! ;D

Hi Shelly,
Use the find command under edit to search for this in your source code: height: 2096px;
Change the 2096px to 100%

Hi Shelly, Use the find command under edit to search for this in your source code: height: 2096px; Change the 2096px to 100% Thank you so much Ken....How would you advise that I shrink my site a little bit. I think it is still a little long. Or would you just advise I add more offers? Shelly

Hi Shelly,
I'm still seeing the height: 2096px; in your source code.
The easiest way to fix it is to open your index page in notepad. Then click "edit", then "replace" and in the box that opens put height: 2096px; in the "find what" field and height: 100% in the "replace with" field and hit "replace".
Then save and upload it to your host.

Hi, Shelly
The side columns are as long as the center but you don't have them filled with anything so they look empty. If you want to even things out you'll need to choose some things from the center and put them on the sides. Google and text ads would be good choices. When you're done, your site will be a bit shorter.

Hi Shelly,
Your site is set up to grow with the content you add. The only way to keep it from getting longer is to not add more content.
You can take some of the content from the center and add it to the side columns as Sandi suggests. That would cut down on some of the length.

Hi Ken, I definately want to add more to my site, but when I do this in NVU it pushes everything down, and NVU is touchy...right now when I try to add ads/banners to the empty red sections along the sides of my site towards the bottom--it won't let me. It will only let me place ads right ABOVE the last ads that are on my site--any ideas on how to correct this?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Tammy,
I had a similiar problem and all you need to do if you want to add another ad below your Maximum Survey is put a space. Here is how your code reads below your last ad in your left column
alt="Make money now" src="imgs/MPSsky1.gif"></a><br> <!-- End of Maximum Paid Surveys Banner Code --></div> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table><br> </td> <td align="center" valign="top" width="520">
<table id="middle" align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"
Insert the <br> after the table and you should be able to ad anything you want after that banner. As you know <br> is the break or space code. What you have now is an end to your left column at Maximum Survey.
I hope this makes sense for you, it does to me. But I am lousy at explaining things sometimes. But put that <br> in there and it will work.
Take Care Nancy

Nancy, I don't know if I have that ad there. I did a control find in source and it does not locate it. Also, the last ad I have on the left side of my web page is the blogging banner. What can I do now? Thank you for your help.

;DHI Tammy,
I just checked again and at the end of your left column you have the Maximum Survey ad. It is your last banner or ad.
Look for the code in your souce I copied from your website and you should see what I mean. Your last ad in the left column.

;DHi Tammy,
There is a very good reason for that. I was having a senior moment and mixed your site up with Shelly.
For some reason I cannot look at your site. I am getting an error message when I try to look at it.
So sorry for the confusion. You are not going crazy, I am.
Again I am sorry for the confusion I caused you.

Tammy, I get the same thing Nancy does.
Somewhere in the forum I think the issue was addressed, but I am not finding it using the search feature. It might have something to do with not uploading into the public html folder?
I really don't remember - sorry. Hopefully either you can find it using the search feature or someone will come along who will not only recognize immediately what you did, but will know how to fix it!

Hey Tammy...Good news I can see your site now.
You have this in your source code:
<td align="center" valign="middle"><!-- YOU CAN SIMPLY REPLACE ALL THE CODE FROM BELOW THIS COMMENT TO THE NEXT COMMENT THAT SAYS, REPLACE TO HERE, WITH THE CODE SUPPLIED TO YOU BY THE CAMPAIGN COMPANY --><a href="http://www.marketingtips.com/sr/t.x/908196"><img style="border: 0px solid ; width: 125px; height: 413px;" src="images/blogging_banner2.gif" alt="Internet Marketing Center" title="Internet Marketing Center"></a><!-- REPLACE TO HERE --></td> </tr> </tbody> </table><br> <!-- END OF LEFT AD --></td> <!-- END OF LEFT AD COLUMN --><!-- MIDDLE MAIN CONTENT COLUMN --><td
See the <!-- END OF LEFT AD -->...you need a space between that and the end of the table.. So just put the ,br> where I indicated in red, and you should be able to ad another ad Do the same with the right , and it should even up for you.
Let us know.
Nancy ;D
P.S. Just keep adding <br>'s until you get the spacing between ads that you want. I believe that is all you need to do and you should be able to ad as many ads as you want.

Nancy, Thank you and I also found another way to do it. JWith this you don't have to mess with your source code. Just click on the empty space below your last image and hit your right key. Go to table insert and then click row below. You will get a small space but once you insert and image in there, it's done!
