I'm building my page in Nvu. I've managed to blow it out and still need help restoring it. I want to get the borders pulled back in close to my banner so that everything in the center of my page is centered and tight.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.
Thanks,

Hi Cathleen,
You have a width set to 944px near the bottom of your code.
The easiest way to find it is to open your index.html file in Notepad. Just right click on your file and choose "Open with" then "Notepad".
The click "Edit" Then "Find" Put in width: 944px; in the box and click "find".
It will find and highlight that code. Change it to width: 100%; and click "Save" under "File".

I've done this Ken, but the problem of my borders not being closer to my banner and everything centering under that banner still exists. You see, my banner is still the original size, but somehow the borders got wider and everything under the banner in the center is not centered like it should be.
What can I do now?

Hi Cathleen,
I see you got it fixed.
If you want to bring up the bottom of your site to get rid of the blank space, do the find thing with height: 2090px; Change it to height: 100%; There are 4 instances of it in your code.
That way your page will grow in height as you add more content.

Oh cool, thanks Ken! I'll do that when I get home from work tonight. You're such a big help! It's nice to have an angel sitting on my shoulder.
I love being a part of such a talented forum.
