I'm working In NVu. I added my google adsense under my Better Universe add on the right side. I don't know much about HTML so I have no idea why it's making my page messed up. I'm also getting 8 google ads, which I know is against policy. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Thanks!
Also, I have added my google ads to my page and uploaded that to VDeck under a different name. How does VDeck know which should be "live"?

Hi Melissa,
can you give me the URL of your new page with the extra Google ads, I can then look at the code and figure out what's wrong.
I've heard of issues like this before regarding Google Ads or things like counters, NVU or vDeck seems to duplicate certain types of code when you upload it via vDeck! There are other ways of uploading files which may cut out vDecks tendancy to change things. However, I can give you a clearer idea if you show me the page.
Regarding your question on how vDeck knows which is live, it doesn't work that way. Both pages are in effect "live" if you've uploaded both to your web space. The way it works is that the page you want as your homepage when someone types in or clicks on your main URL must be called "index.html". The settings of the web host server control what the page should be named for it to show as your homepage, in most cases it's "index.html", however you may also run across ones that are set up for "default.html". In fact it's probably set up to look for either name as the homepage, except it'll put priority on one of them, so if you have both "index.html" and "default.html" then it'll probably choose "index.html" as the homepage.
Hope that makes sense.
So if you send me either the full URL, or simply just the name of the new page you're trying to put Google ads on, I'll take a look and get back to you.
Regards,
Jim
