Hi James,
When you browse your web site's files using the File Manager feature inside iPower's vDeck control panel, one of the first items you see is your public_html directory (or folder). This is the home folder for your web site's files, which corresponds to
www.workathomeinsite.com in your case. Your index.html web page file would go in the public_html folder.
Web servers are generally configured to look for an index page as a default page, which is why you can specify your URL without putting index.html at the end of the URL and your page still displays.
Many people such as yourself also create a separate directory for their image files called images or something similar. This would generally be created inside the public_html directory, and you would then upload your image files there. It appears you have done this since your homepage is displaying properly.
However, I did notice that you have a copy of your index.html file uploaded inside your images folder too, although most of the images are not displaying on it. If you go to
www.workathomeinsite.com/images you will see a web page displayed rather than a simple directory listing of image folders as I was initially expecting.
To this end, it is quite possible that you had inadvertently uploaded some image files to your public_html directory, rather than placing them in the public_html/images directory, so you probably have copies of image files in both directories as well as a copy of your index.html page in each directory.
Make sure you have a copy of all of your files stored on your own computer first as a backup, then you can go through your public_html directory on iPower and delete any images or other files that should not be there, and you can go into the images subdirectory and delete any unnecessary files there such as the index.html page (unless you wanted a copy in this location as well).
Also, you have some stray code showing at the top and the bottom of your web page. The top has "language="JavaScript" type="Text/JavaScript"> // -->" and the bottom has "-- END OF MAIN TABLE" displaying when it shouldn't be.
To fix the top part, find this in your source code near the top inside the <head> section:
language="JavaScript"
type="Text/JavaScript">
and replace it with this:
<Script Language = "JavaScript" Type="Text/JavaScript">
It needs the < and > around the script declaration. To fix the bottom part, find this at the very end of your source code:
<!---->--
END OF MAIN TABLE </body></html>
and replace it with this:
<!--END OF MAIN TABLE--></body></html>
Parts of the sections to search for may be on the preceeding line or in the middle of a line. Comment tags begin with <!-- and end with --> with the source code comment in between them. Comments don't do anything on your page, they're just there as notes for whoever is reading the source code. This helps you easily find given sections of your code.
Hope this helps. If you have problems with any of this, please post the specific issue and we'll do our best to help you out.
