Hi Skyrocket!
I gotta say your Website has been very helpful!
I'm using Nvu to create my Website. Initially I was using vDeck and had chosen their own Design or style for my Website but I find it incomplete, vDeck doesn't allow me to view when I'm editing also I can't see how my clock and date looks, when I do mistakes there are no options on erasing, deleting etc and there are a number of things that also I can't Do with vDeck. Because of this I have been loosing a lot of time, but now I'm back with Nvu.
So I was wondering if you could help me with a couple of issues that I have: * I have created some buttons with cool text, how Do I do to add it to my page on Nvu and how do I make them click-able, that way it sends me to another page. For ex: Button: Menu when I click I want it so send me to Menu Page.
* How Do I add the clock and the date in Nvu?
Thank you for your help and time!
Maita.

Hi Maita,
Buttons are the same as any other clickable image or banner ad that is currently on your page. Just look at any of your banner ads to see how this is set up… basically all you need is the image to be nested inside of a link tag.
I Do not use NVU, so I cannot give you any specifics on how to do things with that editor, but setting up the button would be similar to setting up a banner ad, regardless of what editor you are using.
For the clock/date, it is probably easier to just view the source of your TOPS web page to see how the clock is set up. The clock code is contained between the <!-- ### clock ### //--> and <!-- ### end clock ### //--> comments. The clock/date display is created by calling an external javascript that I wrote called clock.js. It is probably best that you copy this script from the TOPS server to your own domain if you intend on using this script on your 3PP page.
One thing to be aware of is that the color and style of the text for the clock/date display is controlled by the “linkbar” class of the internal css, which is contained in the head of the TOPS web page.
