Hello,Forbidden
Last week I could view my website and I haven't done anything to it recently. I went to look at it today and I get a message: Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Could someone please help me out on this; is anyone else having problems with IPower?
Thank you.

Hi Tammy, You would have to contact the support for your web hosting provider (iPower) in order resolve an issue like this. If you have not been playing around with the file and directory permission settings in File Manager or via a FTP program that supports changing permissions then there may be a problem with your account. In either case, iPower should be able to look at your account and resolve the issue for you. Their contact page and support info is as follows: www.ipowerweb.com/contactus/index.htmlTelephone: Support: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Billing: 7am–7pm M – F, 9am–5pm Sat (PST) Sales: 5am–7:30pm M – F, 10am–6pm Sat & Sun (PST) Main Line: 1-888-511- HOST (4678) Outside the U.S. & Canada: 602-716-5398 Calling them or using the Live Chat feature on their site usually yields the quickest results, but you can alternately submit a support ticket via their web site if you are not in a hurry for a response. Hope this helps. Troy

Troy,
I got a hold of IPower and they fixed whatever they needed to on their end and now my site has missing banners again. Would you please look at it again as you did a couple of weeks ago? I have done all that I can do with my site. It was fine until something happened at IPower, and now I have a mess again. I don't need to tell you how frustrated I am getting. I appreciate any help you can give me. I cannot get FTP Commander to work correctly either, I don't know what the problem is with that. Anyway, one thing at a time. Thanks again Troy.

Tammy,
I checked a couple of images near the top of your site and the links to them in your index.html page's code appeared to be in the correct format, so I suspect the problem is not with your page this time. Rather, it appears that many of the images to be displayed on your page are no longer stored on your web host.
It is possible that whatever problem recently existed with your account or iPower's repair of it caused many of your image files to be deleted off of your web host. I did notice that a few are working however, such as 1star2b.gif under the title "Huge Cash Flow" in the left column of your three ads in a row table.
You would have to go through your page and check each of your images one by one and make sure that they are present on your web hosting account in the /images folder, and if not, re-upload them. With Internet Explorer, a blank box with a red X is displayed for each missing image...you can just right-click on each of those and choose Properties to find out the name of the image that is missing. Sometimes the error log in your web host's control panel is helpful in determining which files are missing as well.
As for FTP Commander, I've never used that particular program so I can't really give specific advice, but for any FTP program I would double-check the server name, login and password that you are using to connect to your hosting account, as well as the paths to both your local and remote files to make sure that they are correct.

Hi Tammy,
Sorry it has taken me so long to see this message... 2 weeks ago I was having problems with my ISP and access to the internet was limited, then last week my computer crashed and I have spent the past week getting it repaired and recovering my data. I am now back up and running but my computer has no software on it yet except the factory defaults.
Anyways, I just took a look at your site and your images directory only had a few images in it. For some reason all of your images were deleted. I went ahead and transferred all of your images I saved last time I worked on your site back into your images directory. This seemed to fix most of your problems, but there still seems to be a few images that are not displaying. These appear to be bad links to external web sites, so you will have to investigate those and replace them with good links.
Hope that helps.
Tom
