Hi, My TOPS website was built using Dreamweaver in html and I want to add a 2nd and 3rd etc. page but don't know how to link them to my main page. I'm using the Dreamweaver For Dummies Handbook but it doesn't seem to explain it clear enough for me to understand. Can anybody help with this? Chris

Chrisse,
I don't use dreamweaver, but I believe linking to more pages works the same no matter what editor you use.
For example if you make a page called e-books, you would simply use a link like this: <a href="http://www.mysite.com/ebooks.html" target="_blank">ebooks</a>
You can then put the link in your site navigation, menu, etc.
Hope this helps. Good luck with your new pages.
Regards, Michael J

Chrisse,
Michael is correct. I use Dreamweaver and the links are all made the same weather they are to someone else's page or your own.

Hi Chris
Just to expand a bit on Michael J's post, I don't use Dreamweaver either, but when I add a new article to my site on its own page, I name the new page the same as the article title. I then upload that file (named "new-article") to the public html folder.
The url for that new article page then becomes "http://www.mysite.com/new-article.html" after it has been uploaded.
You link to it from your home page the way the others have said.
It should become more clear as you talk your way through it a few times.
Sandi
PS: I've been told the "Idiots" books explain things more clearly than the "Dummies" books. ;D

Thanks to all for your help. I thought it might be something so simple, as you've explained, but didn't trust myself in case I stuffed it up. So I'll give it a go following your instructions. And thanks Sandi I'll seek out the 'Idiots Guide' as well.
Cheers.....Chris PS: my sister Maree who sometimes posts here on my behalf and follows the forum regularly, as well as being my TOPS business partner is celebrating her birthday today and I want to wish her Happy Birthday and many more
