I promised to report whether or not my SFI income decreased or increased as a result of the new VersaPoints program.
I am pleased to report an increase of 56% over the income I earned in July. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this pay raise.
Initially... I really liked the new program due to all the new EA's I was seeing. However, after a more thorough review, I noticed that a majority of these new EA's were getting upgraded by completing tasks rather than generating sales and income.
Based on that, I was very skeptical about VersaPoints translating into a higher income. So far so good... VersaPoints passed the first test for me with flying colors. Now we need to keep a close watch and see if this was a "one month wonder".
Hopefully, this boost in income will continue forward to coming months and also result in more money for everyone else. Especially those of you who have been with SFI for awhile and have a lot of hard work invested.
I would appreciate others reporting your income difference between July and August so we can see how this is working for everyone.

Erich,
My income has decreased from July to August. Thought it was going to go up but it didn't.

Erich, I tried to post last evening but for some reason the forum forgets I'm logged in so I lost it all and was to tired to type it at all again. I saw a 150+ increase, but that's not what I'm most excited about. I have been working the system this month and I like the versa points system as it rewards you for taking the time to do the tasks required to building a large team. The versa points system gets you a lot of "ea's" that hopefully will turn into "EA's, ie EA's that use their business to purchase products and help others. I try to use the KISS rule so I tell my new affiliates this: Want To Earn Money Fast In SFI? Be On Fast Track! This is a very simple business! Fast Track 1.Be on Standing Order (SO) for IAHBE - Take Action Now! 2.Be a Member of Eye Earn - Take Action Now! 3.Review, Promote & Use Triple Clicks - Take Action Now! 4.Sponsor New Affiliates - Take Action Now! 5.Teach Them to Do the Above Steps - Duplication 6.Repeat Steps 1 – 6! *Note: Treat Your Business As Real Business I have removed some links whereby they could sign up for each step, but if we can take all the new people and get them to do this we will all be successful. It's a numbers game and in my opinion the 80/20 rule still applies, but if you are getting a lot more people excited then the 20% number is of course higher and that yields success. I am hoping for the best, but pleasantly surprised at this months outcome! mcomo P.S. I can also report that one of my BIG GUNS saw a 300% increase. I see the possibilities as favorable and for this being a very positive program for those SFI Members who take steps to develop these co-sponsored members. It will not be instant in the sense of just add water or milk; mix well and place in the refrigerator However, with the opportunity to build long term income see: www.sfimg.com/Reference/CompPlan.sfi SFI also offers a suggested follow-up email to send to these folks here: news.sfimg.com/rss.phpSome steps I am going to be working on is to develop a series of follow-ups that focus on providing support, encouragement, tools, and business building help. I may be proven wrong but I believe this is the best overall affiliate plan SFI has offered in some time. Michael

My commission went down about 10%.
If all this increase in activity and EAs is only coming from doing tasks to earn points, then there is no new money coming into the system. Therefore it only makes sense that if some make more money, others will make less. The distribution of the money pot is just being shuffled differently.
As has been said before, time will tell if SFI has finally found a system that works for the long term, or if this is just another in the endless series of compensation revisions.

My August commission was 44% higher than July.
It remains to be seen whether or not a meaningful percentage of the new first month action-only "EAs" maintain their EA status in future months by doing purchases and/or sales.
SFI tried a similar approach back in 2006 (it was called pending EA status) and it bombed...hopefully things will work out better this time, but I am still somewhat skeptical and will keep a close eye on the attrition rate for these new action-only "EAs" .
In 2-3 months it should become obvious whether or not the Versapoints program is a real growth vehicle or if it is just an illusion of growth.

OK, so I am looking at August's commissions report and I don't see that Network Override Commissions so maybe it is a software mistake.
Maybe that caused the income decrease. Is anyone else seeing the same thing or do you see your Network Override Commissions.
Sent an email to SFI because we should get paid Network Override Commissions too.

Tal Hi Tal, Did you check to see if you made team leader status for August? This caught a couple of my team leaders. The bar was raised for qualifying and you don't get network overrides unless you're a team leader. You need 3000 points to qualify for network overrides (1500 needs to be from sales or purchases, but no more than 2000 can). If this is what happened, you'll want to watch September so it doesn't happen again... if you can prevent it. Tim

With SFI's new system and the co-sponsorship program which placed several hundred potential money makers (affiliates) we must ask ourselves how can we most benefit. ( Mike "mcomo" shared some keys to what must take place.... What more specifically are you going to do with those and other keys, you may have. I have begin the process of developing a series of email that I hope will encourage, and lead these affiliates to become involved and to begin the process of building their SFI Business. - This includes working through the names, and their e-mail and making contact with them.
- Leading them to sign up for a training series that will get them active and hopefully successful with SFI. (By setting up a standing order) and
- helping them to locate and build a solid list of potential members, who become active with SFI
Something I see as a potential here is the opportunity to help each other grow from SFI Corporate down to that newest member. Will it be easy..No it take work on our part...writing new e-mail series, or whatever method you find that works for you to reach out and impact or mentor those in our down-lines whether recruited personally or passed on to us in the co-sponsor program. Now...Share how you are going to use those keys you have to make this a success.. My little slogan: Success Comes In Cans, I feel comes in play here. Let us share our ideas and use our forum to empower and enrich each other. To our mutual success! Michael

Michael
You make some good points. The most important way to increase commissions is to signup new affiliates thru our website traffic. This would include doubling up our marketing efforts by adding content to our sites and getting links back to us. These are the 2 most significant ways I know of to climb in the search listings.
So far we have 3 people who showed significant increases from 44% to 150%. The 2 who had losses were apparently not classified as Team Leaders which is important to higher income.
Sandy dropped 10%... which of course is disappointing but from past postings I'm not sure how active she is in sponsorships??
Tal, I know in the past you sold most or all your new affiliates thru a co-op which is OK if the people know how to develop their affiliates into profits. If you aren't seeing any development from the co-op you would probably be better off either toning down your co-op or dropping it completly. I recommend this for 2 reasons:
1. You could likely get more income from the new signups than your team since you have more experience with developing new people... and have a history with SFI which is encouraging to many new people.
2. The other reason would be an ethical consideration. If none [or very few] of the affiliates you are selling are upgrading then they are essentially worhthless to the buyer... which creates ill feelings and bad karma towards you. This is one of the main reasons I eliminated my own Co-op. Please don't think I am passing judgement... far from it. Just a thought for your consideration in case it applys??
Anyone else want to share your income experience... It's OK if you showed a loss... we just want to know so we can get a better picture of how VersaPoints is working.

Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to give everyone an update. I know we have not been paid from SFI yet, but here is what I can say for sure with leaders on my team who are duplicating our system:
1. We will see increased commissions for the month.
2. I recently had one of my big guns really fall in line as far as duplicating and using the system and that person has had more volume created in the first 12 days then they did all of last month.
3. Remember Educate and promote ....there are two types of volume with SFI. one creates income for your down line and the other gets them nice products. They are both nice, but only one creates what most people are looking for. Therefore we created a suggested Triple Clicks list that for our Fast Track members to duplicate. 4. The key is converting the pointy ea's into real EA's!
Remember these 2 things: #1 A few will do something right away, a few more will do something later and a larger percentage will do nothing period. That's the bottom line, but if you understand that it's good news! You just need to sponsor more people and teach them.
#2. Help your people make money and you will be taken care of. Do it for the right reasons!
This is a very simple business!
Want To Earn Money Fast In SFI? Be On Fast Track!
Fast Track
1.Be on Standing Order (SO) for IAHBE - Take Action Now! 2.Be a Member of Eye Earn - Take Action Now! 3.Review, Promote & Use **Triple Clicks - Take Action Now! 4.Sponsor New Affiliates - Take Action Now! 5.Teach Them to Do the Above Steps - Duplication 6.Repeat Steps 1 – 6!
*Note: Treat Your Business As Real Business ** Use Triple Clicks From The Suggested Triple Clicks List!
I hope this helps

Hello,
Last month was very good and I'm seeing just shy of 14% growth in income for September. I'm quite happy with that as I have seen huge growth in some key areas the first two weeks of this month, so I think it will be even better next month. Once I get some more numbers I will let everyone know
mcomo
P.S. Update One of My Team Leaders that had a big percentage last month saw a 33% increase again this month.
