Can some offline marketing techniques like especially writing newsletters, cold calling, asking for referrals from existing customers work offline in an average day job?
I work in a Bank and of recent they have been pushing us even harder to bring in more sales. Every time that happens, I wonder how our methods of referring customers would work for selling to new and existing customers in my day job.
Marketing and Sales here follows a centralized guideline but still they are way too far away from us to notice if we tried something like this in our local area. They just want the results.
Has any one tried this? Has it worked? Or may be it's something that your employer does to sell products, that is if you were ever employed.
