updated 2/14/12If you are a novice to internet marketing and advertsing..... you will want to consistantly navigate Forums, Discussion Groups, Blogs, and newsgroups and anything else related to making income online or you like and care about . Just post messages and interact with others looking to earn income online. Make sure you place your link in your signature file.
Everywhere you go... make sure you post your website or affiliate link in all of communications. Again... The best and easiest way to do this is to add your website link to your Forum "signature file" in your profile when your signup. Then you can post a message more detailed about how good it is....
unless thats considered spam. Forums have different policies and rules on this. It's best to just talk with others about marketing and growing an online income and then you will get inquiries and signups just from those discussions. They will click on your link your set up in your signature file similar to how you can do in your email acct.
This forum requires a PM to Admin to approve your company in advance. We require proof of income. There are others with similar policies and many more that allow open and free postings.
You can go to a forum with a theme that interests you like politics, healthcare, sports, pets, or anything else and have fun talking with others about your thoughts and include your link in the signature file. The more often you go and comment with different people... the more likely you become credible and liked which increases the likely hood your link with be clicked. Discuss your ideas in as many boards possible and you will get a bunch of exposure.
Don't make the mistake of dropping in for the sole purpose of marketing begining with your first post. Once again find a forum with something your passionate about and you will enjoy the interactions and make money too...
I personally do very good at political forums because that's my interest. I've posted over 1200 times at one. I also make a lot of postings at Investment, Horse Racing, Poker and Gambling forums... again because I want info and like these... gamblers are willing to take risks and you will get traffic from these if you like talking about the subject matter. Just about everyone would prefer working at home no matter what you're discussing.
You can focus on work at home but you'll have a lot of competition. Locate the best Forums, Discussion Groups, Blogs, and newsgoups by going to Google and Yahoo search engines and entering these keywords phrases with work at home or make money in front. For instance you can go to Google and enter:

Just switch the words around for different results... Once you are at these Forums, Discussion Groups, Blogs, and newsgoups... make postings inviting others to join your team or buy your product
. Again be very careful to not get distracted into signing on with a speculative and suspicious offer which is 98% of what is being promoted out there for people looking to work at home.

Just take your marketing efforts one day at a time and if you feel anxious or overwhelmed, stop and start fresh later on or the next day.
Try doing a search online (yahoo or google) and type in "10 cent search engine". Give a few a try. Always start with the minumal amount needed in funds. Use as many keywords as you can in the Title/Text part of your ad. If you need help with keywords click on this link and put in the SFI website.

Your ad will take a few days before being approved in most cases. If you have not heard anything by day 3 then send an email to them in support. Remember that most places are not in operation for live help on weekends or holidays. They normally post this on the home page.
If you change your ad at anytime, even the title, there will be another wait period for approval. I recommend putting in more than one ad. This does not mean you have to run them both. I have two ads and I will only run one at a time.
If you find that your funds are going to quickly and not enough signups then you need to look at your keywords and which countries you are targeting. If you can join a site that will give you reports on how many clicks and perhaps where your clicks are coming from this would be very helpful. If you can find a site that will pause your ads when you want too - also helpful.
Take a look at your keywords. Keywords like "Work at home", "Work from home" can take your funds quickly. If you find that you are having a lot of clicks from countries not signing up for SFI, take that country off the list to target.
Pay attention to the time of the day you notice the most signups. Also watch for the best days of the week which are cheapest. Most of the clever marketers do not run an ad all day long. Only 2-3 hours a day. Do not run an ad everyday of the week. Learn what time periods your website works best and what days of the week not to advertise on this site.
Classifieds:
You can go online and do a search for Classifieds. You can do this for free or for a very low monthly fee. Your ad is at the top this way. One thing nice about Classifieds is that you can change your ad often without having to wait for approval like a PPC. When the viewings and clicks and/or sign ups stop... time to change your ad. You will do this fairly often.
Sometimes just changing either the Title, Text or the Banner helps. Your viewings, clicks and signups will start back up again. Never stay in one place for a long period of time. Like up to a year, unless your signups are still going strong. Move around, check a few out. I do all the time.
Traffic Exchanges (TE):
Before joining a TE you will want to surf the ads real quick to make sure there is not already a lot of SFI affiliates/ TC or ECA on there. People get bored with seeing the same ads everyday so to join one that has those already on there will not help much. best to use with no sfi's on there.
