The past 3 days I have watch 3 people in SFI make it on the top Global Report after reading what I gave them on my tips about advertising. I never once told them where to go. Just how to find and work with what we have.
Each one contact me, before I could contact them, Thanking me for my help. I do not claim to know it all.
In the past 6 days I have brought in 178 affiliates to be on my team and 8 TC referrals.
All I have to say is what I have below I use and they used. I have a feeling I will see these 3 and hopefully many more along with myself on the Global Report more often.
To all
While you are reading what I will be giving you, you will find that you may have already tried a few, if not all, of what I mention about advertising. Take a look again what I point out that I have found in each option. This is a lot of trail and error and I still am dealing with trail and error on each site I sign up with. It is a learning experience.
Number one rule is - just because your ads are out there does not mean you do not have to go back and check your ads. This should be a daily thing, several times if you pay.
I recommend that you do a search online (yahoo or google) and type in "Classifieds, Traffic Exchanges, Low cost advertising on search engines (like google and yahoo - but without having to pay the high cost per click)". Give a few a try.
Always start with the minumal amount needed in funds. Use as many keywords as you can in the Title/Text part of your ad. If you need help with keywords click on this link and put in the SFI website.
adwords.google.com/o/Targeting/Explorer?__u=1000000000&__c=1000000000&ideaRequestType=KEYWORD_IDEAS#search.none
Your ad will take a few days before being approved in most cases.
If you change your ad at anytime, even the title, there will be another wait period for approval. I recommend putting in more than one ad. This does not mean you have to run them both. I have two ads and I will only run one at a time.
If you find that your funds are going to quickly and not enough signups then you need to look at your keywords and which countries you are targeting. If you can join a site that will give you reports on how many clicks and perhaps where your clicks are coming from this would be very helpful. If you can find a site that will pause your ads when you want too - also helpful.
Take a look at your keywords. Keywords like "Work at home", "Work from home" can take your funds quickly. If you find that you are having a lot of clicks from countries not signing up for SFI, take that country off the list to target on the site you are advertising.
Pay attention to the time of the day you notice the most signups. Pay attention also to the days of the week. I do not run my (paying) ad all day long. I do not run my ad everyday of the week. I have learned what time periods the site I am using works best and I have learned what days of the week not to advertise on this site. This will save you money if you are paying to advertise.
Classifieds:
You can go online and do a search for Classifieds. You can do this for free or for a low monthly fee like I do. Your ad is at the top this way. One thing nice about Classifieds is that you can change your ad often without having to wait for approval like a PPC. When the viewings and clicks and/or sign ups stop? Time to change your ad. You will do this often.
I have found that just changing either the Title, Text or the Banner? Your viewings, clicks and signups will start back up again. Move around, check a few other sites for advertising. I do all the time.
Traffic Exchanges (TE): up to 4 million Traffic Exchanges that you surf for credits so you can advertise if you do not want to pay for the credits.
Before joining a TE you will want to surf the ads real quick to make sure there is not already another SFI, TC, ECA or Wave3 on there. People get bored with seeing the same ads everyday, so to join one that has those already on there will not help.
Try to put your ads at the top. I recommend doing all 4 on TE's. SFI/ECA/TC/Wave3
Banners are a big plus on these sites. After awhile people get bored seeing the same ads and will look at your banner.
TC referrals -
I do something I don't think most think of and that is put an ad in (Traffic Exchanges) at the top (paying more credits to do this but worth it) and have it run while the "live auctions" are going on and turn it off when the auction is over. I did this once when they were auctioning off the netbook and ipod and I would get a few referrals signing up during this time.
ECA program I also advertise on TE's. You need to let them know that the ECA company is not just for companies but also for family, friends, co-workers or even neighbors who build/make things they could sell.
If anyone has a question about what I have mentioned or would like to add what I have mentioned then please respond to this post.
Good luck to everyone
