Ok I've studied/observed PB and have a good friend with most all the comprehensive winners stats over the last year by item, date, amount and everything else that can be found the past winners pages. The following is what I've seen work very well on a consistent basis for a few successful bidders. Don't worry guys/gals I'm not going to provide names. Some of this reinforces the Do's/Dont's at PB and comes from my own experience. But most from the stats.
1. Stay under the radar. In other words DON"T buy a bunch of Tcredits and be at or near the top 50 on the monthly VP leaderboard by mid month. Some of those affiliates get good deals but they also spend tons of tcredits on many other losses and wins. Remember you can only win 3 a week and 10 a month. If done right, you should not need to buy over a 200 monthly standing order which is only $58.00. Consider that a good investment.
2. Never let your ego get in the way of your emotions. In other words don't take it personal when someone bids over you. Getting into bid wars will only make others want to beat you more and give you negative exposure.
3. Set a limit per auction of no more than 25-40 and bid them at the begining. Drop out if you see several bidders or someone autobidding after each of your first 20 bids. This works best when the clock is going down to update and only one other player bidding on update.
4. Always look for 2-3 auctions going at once especially the last one coming on. 3 is always best. This is often overlooked especially early and late in the day. I 'm not going to get into days of week or month and times since I see no clear pattern.
5. Unfortunately this works best for Tcredit auctions of 250 or less and sometimes for 1 S-Builder. The good news is even though you might only win 1 out of 7-10 you enter... and that's when you're on a bad streak. However, you're building up MRP which you can use to buy more Tcredits and/or other items at Triple Clicks. If you want the 50 CSA's, Laptops, silver...etc then be prepared to do your own research and invest more.
- Don't be obsessed and lose focus on building up your income by marketing for PSA's.
The number one thing is to not make anyone angry or envious because we're all humans and those emotions are strong in this environment. Make sure you know who your're really bidding against by clicking on their TC name and then connect. At that point you can quickly check the VP leaderboard for current and prior month. You will find most at the top are not GTL's or PTL's so there's a good chance they are up there from buying Tcredits. Have this set up on a separate window before the auction starts. Eventually you'll know who most of them are especially if you keep record of whose who and see if their high in Power Rank.
Remember the Power Rank is simply a record of VP gained since 2009.
Again keeping a low profile is important to get the best deals. This info isn't science it's simply my observation of a select few who do very well. A couple have win ratios of 80%+ under the $1.25 mark.
Another unfortunate thing is this doesn't work very well for me since I made just about every mistake I'm advising you to avoid. However, I still can pick some spots occasionally when I have time.
