I do all my work on my Macintosh computer. I have found that working with KompoZer was easier to work with. I can also undo everything that I may have done on a site I am working on, even if I saved it and uploaded the site. As long as you do not leave the page you are working on you can go back and undo everything you just did.

Hi Tamberlee,
Sorry I didn't see your post sooner. I just wanted to mention that if my memory serves, KompoZer is basically just a bit newer version of NVU with maybe a few bug fixes for NVU and a new name, so they are virtually the same thing. I just checked and there appears to be a newer version of KompoZer available now (as of a couple of years ago) than there was the last time I looked at it (which was even longer ago), so it may be more different than NVU than it used to be...at one time you could barely tell them apart because KompoZer was just NVU with a few very minor tweaks.
Most editor-type programs (including HTML editors, word processors, image editors, and other such editors) have an undo feature, which is very handy when we make a change that has less than desirable results. I can't speak for Macintosh systems, but for most Windows-based programs, if you press the CTRL and Z keys together it is a shortcut key combination for undo, and some programs use the CTRL Y combination to redo. Just a handy keyboard shortcut that many programs have if you're a keyboarder like me....

Thanks Troy for posting the information you have about shortcut keys to use. I had to figure out the CTRL Z on my own with this Mac.
I think this is something most figure out on their own on how to use these keys to make your job a lot easier but then again there are people like me at first had no idea something like this was available when working on websites. Less frustrating when you accidently erase something knowing you can use CTRL Z to get it back. I now use shortcuts all the time. Helps a lot in SFI too.
Do you by any chance know what the shortcut keys would be to bring up the html box to put in a code in Kompzer/NVU?
Currently is not giving you any options for shortcut keys to use. But I have found that some of the shortcuts I have been using are also not listed as a option and they work. I seem to insert more html codes then anything.
Whenever you have the time .. no problem Tamberlee
