If you are promoting Paid Surveys Etc and you have entered your ClickBank ID in your Traffic Payouts account I would recommend editing your account and removing it.
First, I have full confidence in the Traffic Payouts sales tracking system. However, ClickBank seems to have reared it's ugly head again and a few of the sales that are showing as going through in my TP account (but with a zero dollar amount) are not showing up as paid in Clickbank.
Bottom line is that some sales have not been paid in either account. However, TP has overpaid me in a few instances for the same sale that has showed up as paid in both TP and Clickbank so we're about even.
I have emailed TP 4 times (the last one this morning) about this since the 31st but haven't received a response as of yet. If I get any response, I let you know.

I didn't hear from them, but I noticed they credited the sales to my account yesterday. Good people to work with Mike C - you can promote their survey and not have to go through Clickbank. Just don't add your CB id in your account. Clickbank just can't be counted on to be accurate with affiliate sales because of the current browser issues. I don't even like to think about how many sales I didn't get credit for on other Clickbank products. Gary

I do not trust click bank, but I thought they said we had to use them. Is there anything we can do with the other programs that use click bank. I really hate the ones you can't get any verification of clicks and such. No visibility. Thank You. Mike C

This is really good to know. I have been having some clickbank issues myself lately. One question if a product is offered in clickbank, and we want to promote it, do we have to sign up only through clickbank, or can we sign up right from the products link? I am beginning to think that is a safer way to get paid and to check our sales. I was thinking of promoting Maximum Paid Surveys and Top Online Surverys on my site, both Clickbank products, but am having trouble getting some answers with clickbank. Why do we use clickbank anyway. They seem to have so many payment issues lately. Nancy

Because a lot of people make a lot of money with them.
Latley though it is the Vendor and CB themselves that are making the money. Just think who gets the affiliates commission when they arn't credited. Im not pointing fingers but if a vendor only expects to get 25% how would they know where the rest went.?
I thought they had it fixed, the last two weeks of Jan sales started to increase, the last 5 days I had 10 sales. Then all of a sudden nothing, since FEB 1st.

I have $69.92 in sales for type-at-home, but yet it is not showing up in the commission detail list, it is showing as na. I am confused about this.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Yes it did. Lastnight I went back into my account again and that time it showed my commissions.
I'm still not sure what was going on?

It could be the payment type. I've noticed this in Clickbank before when I ran Paid Surveys Etc through CB I would show a sale in Traffic Payouts but not in CB. It would eventually appear later in the day and it was ususally being paid for by check. Don't know if the same thing happened here.

I'm thinking maybe that is what happend. I haven't seen anything showing what kind of payment the customer used.
I do appreciate you taking time to help clear this up for me Gary.
Thank you, Melanie

I have a question on 2nd Tier commissions. I referred an affiliate that is generating some heavy duty sales. I get the e-mail notifications that I received the $5.00 override. However, within 10 minutes or so, the commission disappears from my 2nd Tier balance, going back to $0. Nothing is ever posted to ClickBank, either. Where are my 2nd Tier commissions going? Are they held for awhile, then posted? Can anybody help?
I also have noticed a lot of missing sales that come through e-mail, but don't show up in TP or CB. And, yesterday, I had 5 sales show up in TP that never showed up in CB...
I've been e-mailing their support since Monday, but with no response. Doesn't give me a lot of faith in the program. If they are making all kinds of money, why not hire some support people? I am not going to promote this out until I am comfortable that I am going to get paid for my efforts....
Thanks, ST

Hi ST,
If you're using your Clickbank ID for Paid Surveys Etc, there is a problem with spyware / browsers killing the affiliate link. I also had the same problem and removed my CB ID after about the third time. The traffic payout people did credit my account for the missing sales, but I never did hear back from them after pointing out the problem.
You will not be paid for any TAH sales through ClickBank. They run these sales through themselves. I really don't know what to tell you about the overrides. I'm not sure they pay them on the Survey product and maybe this is the problem.

Hi Mike,
As you may recall, Paid Surveys Etc. is a different offer from Paid Surveys Online and is available through Traffic Payouts, it is a sister company to Type At Home. Gary had mentioned earlier in this thread that if you don't fill in the optional field with your Clickbank ID inside your Traffic Payouts account, then you will simply be paid your Paid Surveys Etc. commissions via Traffic Payouts, the same way you receive your Type At Home commissions.
Paid Surveys Online is a different offer altogether available via Clickbank. Since their names are so similar, it is easy to get them confused.
If you're looking for another way to get paid for Paid Surveys Online rather than through Clickbank then I don't think there is one, it is probably just offered through the Clickbank Marketplace. If someone knows of another way to get paid by them then please post, I don't think any of us have a lot of faith in Clickbank's tracking lately.

Okay, thanks for the tips, guys! What I did was switch back to no CB and let another sale and a couple overrides come in. The sale came in as a commission sale of $34.97. So I don't think it is tracking properly at TP. And my overrides were showing in 2nd Tier then, but not on my detailed stats.
Can somebody say for certain whether you get paid a 2nd Tier override ($5) with this program?
I went back to CB. Even though it is losing sales daily, at least I know I will get paid. ST

I have $69.92 in sales for type-at-home, but yet it is not showing up in the commission detail list, it is showing as na. I am confused about this. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Melanie Hello Melanie, I just checked your stats and I see your sales (now 3) both in Detailed Stats and in Commission Details. If you click on Detailed Stats, change the date range to all time (or Last Period) you'll see all your sales. You can also use the product filter and filter by Type at Home. Both ways I see the sales. If you click on Commission Details and click on Approved Standard Commissions ( meaning earned but not paid) then you'll see your same 3 sales. Please let me know what you were doing before when you couldn't see them. Anyone that has been with us for a while KNOWS that we are on the up the up! Our business plan is very simple: Make sure the affiliates get as many sales as possible so there conversions are as good as possible. That is why we pay for offline sales as well. In no way do we try and skimp on sales. The completely defeats our purpose. The reason why support has been behind is because Veronica, the affiliate manager, is experiencing some intense carpel tunnel that is preventing her from working. We are aware of this and are in the process of hiring another affiliate manager to replace her so she can work on other projects that don't require the kind of typing that support does. We appreciate all your business, and that's why we are having these crazy prize giveaways to give back to the people that support our program! Regarding the clickbank issue. We had a glitch in the software that made it fire off the sale notice when a sale wasn't actually generated. That's why some people got those notices saying they made a sale when they really didn't. It would also fire off that sale notice when the new member refreshed or came back to that page. That has been fixed so the sales are reporting correctly now. Yes you do make the $5 referrals on all sales you're referred affiliates send. You can see those stats in Detailed Stats and in Commission Details > 2nd Tier Commissions. Once those sales are generated, they never disappear! It could be that you're looking in the right place. I hope I answered all your questions. Cheers, Billy

Thank you for coming here personally, Billy. We appreciate being able to promote your program. I hope Veronica will have some relief from carpel tunnel. That's so painful.
I will just add, as well, that I had someone that needed a refund recently but couldn't figure out how to get it done. Veronica was on it immediately. Thanks!

Sorry for not replying sooner, I just became a great aunt and have been pre occupied the last few days.
Thank you Billy for taking care of our concerns. I was doing just like you said to above. However like I said when I went back into my account later that night and looked again it did show my sales.
I'm not concerned now. If I ever do have a concern again I will contact you first.
Thank you again Billy, Melanie

And where is PSE now? Been down since yesterday morning and no response to e-mails from Billy and Veronica....
Still down now, although their main site at TP is back up. Nothing in their news updates.....
Makes me pretty nervous, especially being owed more than $2800 now....
Anybody have any info on what is happening?
Did ClickBank shut them down? Interesting how their TAH program is still working...
Be careful guys... Hopefully this is not a scam...??
