Hi everyone, Today, I got this email from SFI and I think that it is important news. Here is the copy of that email from SFI: Dear SFI Affiliate:
It has come to our attention that the checks that we sent out to you on Friday, June 14, were printed without routing numbers. This was an oversight which was caused by a software issue we experienced. Please do not attempt to deposit your check as it will be returned to you.
A replacement check will be sent to you within the next 24 hours. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at the number below. Again, we appreciate your understanding.
Sincerely,
Natalie S. Pounds

Update:
I got 2 checks from SFI. One came on July 20, 2006 and one came today, July 21. 2006.
Should any of you mix them up by mistake, like I almost did, there is one check that has no numbers at the very bottom and there is one that DOES have numbers.
It is right under the MEMO YOUR SFI ID #.
You want to get rid of the one that has no numbers.

Thanks a lot for posting this thread Tal. I never received the email you posted but did receive 2 checks.... I would have been really confused if it hadn't been for this thread! Sandra

How about this for a classic dumb dumb move :
I recieved the email from SFI ( I even got it twice) and then read this post by Tal. Then I got a check from SFI and since it was by far the largest check I have recieved from them (thanks to the Powerpoints I now earn as a STL) I was so excited I depositied it into my bank account the next moring. Only to recieve another check for the same amount from SFI days later. At that point it hit me what I just did. Oops!
Oh well - no harm done - just a sign to myself to slow down and pay attention to details.
