Hi Everyone,
I just read the email from Gery this morning and I couldn't believe it.
This change will make us all much more money.
When I (and Erich) joined SFI, when you signed up you were put into the powerline of your team leader. This meant that you received notifications of several new people placed under you everyday. It made you want to upgrade to take advantage of all the growth under you. It worked. When you saw the growth that was happening you couldn't wait to upgrade.
There were lots of powerlines and there was trememndous growth in all of them.
Well now Gery has decided that SFI will now be ONE huge powerline. Your new affiliates will get emails with hundreds or more likely thousands of new signups under them. It WILL cause upgrades at a much higher rate.
This is the first time I've been excited about SFI in a long time.

Hey Ken -
So - do you feel that we just keep handling our New/SS/EA affiliates like we have been handling them? Sending our emails to encourage to upgrade, etc... Do we need to handle things any differently than before with our affiliates due to this new system?
I welcome any suggestions/comments!
Thanks, Robin

When did you get this email? I'm a BTL and I didn't get it, I also don't see anything in the SFI board about it. Does anyone know where to get some more info on this?

This message was sent yesterday to all SFI Team Leaders. The notice is not made public yet because the changes are not set in stone yet and are still just a proposal. I think Gery is looking for feedback from team leaders.
Keep working SFI as is for now - the proposed changes are in January.
Gery will post the changes to everyone in 2-3 weeks once the details are confirmed

And if they are going back to it, I hope they "fixed" whatever they thought was "broken."
I read it last night and it sounded good to me. I am looking forward to input from others, and Ken, it sounds like you are enthused!

Hello all,
I just went and check my stuff out in Reports and all is looking consistent and correct again which is very encouraging.
I had an EAP which is not listed as EA* and went into sales notifications and it shows me there that he falls under the 2 free months. It seems that I am having more complete SS which is positive because that leads to more EA's! Must be those wonderful emails they are receiving from me! HA!
Regardless, if our top leaders in SFI feel this is a good way to go - great. I look forward to any changes that help those of us not at the top of the list!

Michael,
Thanks for the link. I have read it and printed it for my records.
So.... I was just looking into starting a powerline and am reading up on it. Does this mean that in January it will be automatic. Should I start one or just wait if it is going to be automatic.
You know me - (take into account my learning curve with SFI - LOL) and give me some advice here.
Thanks! Robin

I believe we will have to see what Gery announces, I am sure there will be some minor changes in the system. I believe about two years ago the people from Eagle for example could be directed to key affiliates in a persons sponsorship. If I remember correctly you could also direct certain keycodes from personal advertising.

Please remember these changes are not final - this is a proposal. So I wouldn't get to concerned about specifics at this time - wait until Gery announces the final changes
I believe the changes will be announced in a couple of weeks

Chris - With it being the first of the month and getting new affiliates from Coop, etc.. - would now be a good time to go ahead and start a powerline. I am not sure I totally understand the specifics of it although I see the purpose.
Would it be better to just hold off a few weeks and see how things go down with the changes?
Thanks for you input! Robin

Robin,
I'm not Chris, but changes won't go into effect until Jan 1. You need your new affiliates to be in a powerline, and you will have to create one for them this month.
That being said, you can only make one if you are BLT, and Erich already has your coop affiliates in a powerline for you, so you don't have to worry about them - only the ones you generate yourself.
Hope this helps.

Deb and Chris -
Awesome - I GET IT!
I have cut and paste some info from both this thread and the one you sent, Chris.
I really believe I have it and since I am just getting going with my advertising and not receiving at least 1 affiliate a day personally sponsored then I believe it is best for me to wait until the new year when things pick up.
Oh - right now I have one EAP and one EA. I received a notice of congrats on BTL ! My quesiton - if one of them drops out (doesn't do 10SVP) and I don't ad another one before they drop out - then I lose my position as BTL - is that correct?
Thanks guys - I know you have probably answered these same questions over and over and I appreciate your time!

Yes, you have a grace period, but you will be dropped from being a BLT the next month if you don't maintain two EAs. If you're anything like me, you'll be on again off again for a while before you have enough EAs to ensure your BLT status.

Robin, I believe it is best for me to wait until the new year when things pick up. You don't need to wait Just put one person in your CO-OP. That way at least that person with receive some NGR report, may not receive one everyday but a few is better then none. Roy

Thanks for the info guys. The Shares we purchase from Erich do not count as personally sponsored do they? Robin Yes you are the personal sponsor for these affliates - but Erich has already set up his co-op in a powerline. You want to set up your own powerline for affilaites that you sponsor from your links - on your website or in ads you place.
