I know TOPS members have the most SFI signups by far, but how do we get so many? Do they just click the link on the TOPS page to signup, or is it some other method?

Paul,
I get most of my signups from people going to my website and clicking on SFI - you want it to be located on your website where it is one of the first seen.
Also, you can add your SFI url in your signature and you can advertise your SFI opportunity gateway site individually in any manner you are advertising your WAH site.

Tops affiliates leads the way with SFI because we give them good exposure on our websites and our Tops affiliates know how to get traffic to their websites... which is one of the keys to being an online success... once you get your website set up with the best income sources... then you will start doing some serious marketing...
