I have just received this email from one of the affiliates I sponsored. He was doing well, became EA and had sponsored 18 new affiliates at the last count. Can anyone suggest how I might deal with his problem? Thanks Diane ================================================= From: "email address removed> -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Diane, so, now you are telling me that it is difficult to make any money with SFI? Wow, what a change....perhaps I should forward this e-mail to SFI. Now you want to push Erich W. and his BS? Seems that you'd do anything for a buck. As far as I am concerned, Erich's stuff is just another scheme how to milk people. Do me a favor, keep off...I am dead serious. Do not need your bullnuts. Do not need your "advice" anymore.
Name Removed P.S. 23 out of 50 is only 46%.

I don't think there is much you can do now. He has made up his mind from the looks of the email. You could hand some people a gold nugget and they would say it wasn't big enough.
I would just move on and not be concerned with it. All anyone has to do is look at the leader board at SFI to know that this program works and works very well.

Gary is correct… it’s best just to remove this character from your list and move on.
We get many of these coming in to TOPS, and these kind of emails are evidence that the author is not in the proper mind set to get serious about taking action in what we are offering. Don’t take any of this personal… it is just business and it is their choice to not have any further contact from you. Remove them from your list and don’t look back.
Do to the impersonal nature of emails… sometimes people can be real jerks and it is just not worth the time and effort responding to them.

Diane,
Unfortunately, we have to deal with the bad along with the good. I agree that it is best just to leave this guy alone.
If you feel you want to respond, I would just send an email stating that you will remove him from any future mailings from you.

Diane, I agree with Gary, Tom and Robin, however with that said the first 2 sentences of the email concern me. I do not know you or the person you received the email from, so I can only comment on what I am reading into this and am just going to give you and all newcomers my two cents.
Since we have not seen the email you sent them, it is hard to say, but I hope you didn't say it was hard to make money with SFI? We never want to talk down a program to sell another one. Where they wanted to forward this to SFI is what concerned me. Please just read your email you sent them and make sure you are not saying negative things about SFI. This person has spent time and money in SFI and naturally would get defensive if they received an email to that effect.

As far as the rest of their email and comments, if they are heavily involved in SFI they have seen Erich's name and picture everywhere and are probably just jealous, as well as feeling betrayed.
The best thing to do at this point is take this as a learning lesson. Thank you for posting it here, as it will bring awareness with other members to be very careful in choosing your words for emails as to not hurt any feelings.

Hi Diane,
I would tell them that they don't have to join this training if they don't want to. Tell them that this training is there if they want to take their online business to the nxt level.
Diane, if that person doesn't email you any more then just move on.
They may continue to build their business on their own and maybe they will reach higher levels in SFI and become one of you top leaders.
But for now, whether they stay in or not, I would not email that person again.
I have been with SFI since 2002 and to tell you the truth, just focus on sponsoring new people all the time.
If they ask for help through email, then YES you can offer them Erich's training.
I also wanted to add that if you have an SFI affiliates who is doing pretty good, like getting to STL or GTL, then I would personally NOT email them about TOPS.
They are doing something right and you don't want to interupt them. Unless they email you and see what you are doing.
I have a guy who is a GTL and is doing pretty good with SFI but I will not "interupt" him. I am not going to tell him about the TOPS training UNLESS he asks me what I am doing.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I have read and taken note of all your comments and advice. I do not intend to contact him again as he requested this, but I felt that it was worthwhile asking what you all thought of his 'outburst'. I have started to make an increasing amount with SFI monthly and can see the great potential of this business, I certainly will not be put off by anyone.
Best wishes to all Diane
PS. Here is a copy of the email I sent, promoting TOPS .
Dear George,
Are you serious about working from home?
Are you interesed in working from home but not interested in being scammed?
Well, my promise to you is that I will do the research and only provide you with 100% legitimate work at home programs.
As you know SFI has been our "Top Pick" work at home company for several years. That is because SFI is a solid company with over 20 years of proven results.
Check out SFI here for free if you have not already signed up as a free affiliate

Even with all the results that SFI has it can still be difficult to earn any money from SFI. The real key to success in SFI is to have a coach or personal mentor.
After many of our subscribers contacted us asking for help with SFI I persoanlly set out to find a coaching program that I could recommend to our members who joined SFI.
The best coaching program I found was Top Online Profits and to our delight when you join Top Online Profits and follow the training program given to premium members you will become a top performer in SFI.
That statement above is a bold one - I know - so let me show you what I am talking about.
Proof #1
In October 2005 I researched the top SFI affiliates and contaced each one to see what they did to succeed with SFI. The goal I set out was for myself was to start from scratch in SFI and follow the advice of the top affiliate to see if it really worked.
My research brought me to Erich Winnecke who gave me the same training and coaching he gave his SFI personally sponsored affiliates.
In July 2006 Erich turned the training that he gave me into a program that he now shares with others. Erich created Top Online Profits (TOPS for short) to help others in SFI in the exact same way he helped me.

Proof #2
OK you say - that is great for you, but you had Erich basically holding your hand - he won't do that for me.
Well you are wrong.
With the launch of TOPS Erich has helped more people in SFI than he ever has before. This is because he has helped so many people succeed in SFI that his students are now his teachers.
Erich has set up a support forum for all TOPS members where new and old members can ask questions to any issue with TOPS or SFI and within hours (usually minutes) receive an answer.
I am always amazed at the support new members receive. I participate in alot of forums as part of my research and Erich's forum is one of the best I have ever seen. The members there support each other until they see profit and then Erich turns the successful ones into forum moderators.
Even Gery Carson - the President of SFI - has come to the TOPS forum to post answers to SFI members questions and to get suggestions for changes to SFI to make it better.

Proof #3
At this point the next question you will ask is - If Erich is helping all these people in SFI is there still room for me to grow my SFI business?
Yes! Yes! Yes!
SFI keeps a running total of who is a top performer in SFI. (this is how I found Erich).
As of March 24, 2007 here are the top 50 people on that list
SFI TOP SPONSORS
1 Chris Stirling **** 2 Jeff Mulligan 3 Stone Evans 4 Erich Winnecke **** 5 The Rich Jerk 6 Martin Boyd **** 7 Richard Madison 8 Shawn Casey 9 Chris Simpson **** 10 Rick Davies 11 Mike Pisinski **** 12 Don Richter 13 Shelley Lowery 14 Adam Terebeckij **** 15 Lori Pagnozzi **** 16 Gary Rambo **** 17 Johnny Smith **** 18 Elvan Bagci 19 Suzanne Morrison 20 Tal Fighel **** 21 Debbie Penner **** 22 Mal Keenan **** 23 Richard Tindale 24 Chris Tinney 25 Joaquim Araujo 26 Sharon Davis **** 27 Work at home Team 28 Martin Msted **** 29 Paul Nunn **** 30 Jeff Schuman 31 Ted Kusie 32 Leontien Broekhof 33 Lynn Varallo **** 34 Kevin Hass 35 Art Meakin 36 Stefan Psenner 37 Darin Mathews **** 38 Rodney Wharton **** 39 Jack Belfeuille 40 Lisa Burkhardt **** 41 Thomas Nichols 42 Rebecca Smith 43 Andrew Christiansen 44 Lori Gorman **** 45 Dawn Hunt 46 Shannon Walker 47 Raymond Bundulis 48 Kevin Petty **** 49 Leon McKee **** 50 Zeta Rady ****
Now see those **** after each person's name?
Those are the people who are enrolled in Erich's TOPS training.
**** The #1 sponsor in SFI is a TOPS Member
**** 4 of the top 10 SFI sponsors are TOPS members.
**** 23 of the top 50 SFI sponsors are TOPS members.
Nearly 1/2 of the top sponsors in SFI follow Erich's training.
If you are serious about working from home the path you need to take is pretty clear.
Step 1 - Join SFI for Free --> SFI LINK
Step 2 - Join TOPS --> TOPS LINK <-- Click here
Step 3 - Become a Premium member in TOPS
Step 4 - Follow Erich's training program word for word
Success is that easy.
Your friend in success Diane Mearns
P.S. I forgot to mention that Erich Winnecke was the Top Sponsor in SFI for 2005 and 2006. There is nobody better to learn from than Erich.

I may be confused, but I thought we were not allowed to offer other programs to SFI members. It says that in the email section of the genealogy. Did I misunderstand? There are so many times that I could have sold TOPS because people did not know how to market SFI. With Tops it is built right in! Thanks Cindi

I believe you are referring to "cross-solicitation". When using the contact manager you are not to promote other products or services.
If you have received permission to send a newsletter or other business related info to your affiliates, you can promote the product, though your e-mail or your autoresponder. Again not through the contact manager.

How do I get permission. My affiliates have not signed up for my newsletter.
Thanks Cindi
