You have my prayers and thoughts and I hope that your wife will be fine.

but her left arm still won't move. She still goes to outpatient therapy twice a week for it, but the movement may never return. We've accepted this and moved on.

I don't think that you should accept this. Look, there is a book called:

Positive Imaging; The Powerful way to change your life written by Norman Vincent Peale. If you get this book and read it, you will see that things in your life that you want to change for the better will happen.

Imaging does work and I think that it will help you and your wife too.

You have kept your promise now it is in the hands of the Lord. It is good that you posted here because you will now need all the prayers you can get... My best friend growing up and thru the years has lung cancer and has gone thru Chemo and is now getting ready to start radiation. I don't know what all this means this treatment stuff means. However, my mother also went thru the same kinds of treatment as my friend and she died of lung cancer.... but she had a good long life before she passed away.

Let's hope your wife still has a long life ahead... a good quality life... that is up to God.

Once again, I'm sure you are in the hearts and prayers of all believers who come to this Forum... Continue to keep your promise and His will be done! Thats the best we can hope for...

I'm sorry to hear you are also in a difficult financial situation. I am a supporter of The Salvation Army, The United Way, Red Cross and The Missionary Baptist Church. I am certain one or all of them can help you with your needs during your unemployment. Please go to the nearest local office of one these for help and guidance. You should also look into any State and Federal programs you might qualify for such as Unemployment Compensation, Food Stamps, Housing Assistance,... etc. Here is some online information:
