Hi there, I see from some of the many really beautiful websites within TOPS-THREE PHASE PROFITS FORUM that some have mastered how to make borders around small/large text areas. ads etc. I am using NVU and I am very happy with this software, but I have not been able to find this option. So perhaps NVU doesn`t offer this option. So, are there any HTML codes I can use to put borders around text, ads etc. I`ll be looking forward to hearing from you in due course. Best regards, Per Hogseth

Hi Per,
If you are talking about the borders used around tables, that is in the Table properties drop down in NVU. You can set your size of that border within the border and spacing drop downs.
Go to Table, then table properties, then table and from there you can change the background color of the table, the size of the border and so forth. Usually if you see a text ad and a border around that, then it is done by inserting a table first then putting your text ad in the table. This is done through the insert button in NVU, you can make one table or combine as many tables as you want just by clicking on the little squares.
I hope this helps....the only thing I can't master, yet, is how to change the colors of the border,or if it can be done, so maybe someone will tell us how to do that.
Take Care Nancy ;D

Hi Per, As Nancy indicated, you basically just have to put your ads in their own single cell tables and set a border on them in order to make them appear to be inside boxes. You can actually take a look at your basic TOPS web site that you were provided with when you signed up for TOPS...at the bottom of the left column is such a box with a link in it that says, "Site Developed under the direction of The Work At Home Group!" You can load this page into your editor and look at how it was created and then copy the code to make your own boxes, or just create your own tables for your ads and place borders on them as mentioned above. Hope this helps. Troy P.S. Nancy, I just did a quick search on Google for tutorials on how to change the border colors...you may wish to take a look at the following site: www.htmlcodetutorial.com/tables/index_famsupp_149.html
