I just recently joined your forum after spending a few weeks monitoring the activity. I found the topics to be refreshing and smart so I figured this is a great place to hang.
I'm one of the old-timers. Been in business for myself for over 8 years now and enjoy it (most of the time). I've been in the computer industry for about 30 years now from mainframes to PCs.
I do something a little different in the way of wotrk now. I learned how the "Internet Marketers" operated and then picked out the things that they did that made sense to the brick and mortar businesses that are trying to local drive traffic to their site(s). Now I offer these things to the businesses and they love it. The project makes a lot of sense to many.
Anyone else doing anything similar? I'd love to hear your experiences.
