I am not sure how many of you have tried to do this, having 4 domains and 1000 files, move them to another hosting company?
I have 48 hours to move just that. I was hoping to stay with my current service but it did not work out so I could.
I have only been with one hosting company since I have started.
I have never done this before and I really don't know anyone that can guide me other than help from the hosting company I want to change too. I have submitted a request for help.
So, if this is something you have come across one time or another or have thought about changing services but afraid that everything you have done with the current service will be lost? I will keep you updated how this move for me turns out.

Update:
I apologize for posting something that most in this forum already understand. I understand that there are plenty of members in this forum that may have had to move to another hosting company, one time or another.
I just wanted to share "First Hand" experience at doing something like this. I had planned on sharing this with my affiliates below me or anyone that may have needed help in this area.
I had help with my first hosting company I signed up for. Without this help I would not have even setup an account with them.
If you can find someone to help you, like I was helped, either in instant message or phone, I highly recommend it.
Having someone tell you that "this means this" and "that means that" and "this does this"? Cuts your time in half wondering what you are looking at. Then you start to feel comfortable in what you are doing. This is the same thing I do for my affiliates in SFI.
Having a older Computer/Operating Systems (OS) can cause a problem if you are not able to update your Internet Browser. Just like I have encountered on my Mac with this service already. My Mac will only update to 4.1 when the program I needed to move everything over requires 5.1 or higher. Firefox is not an option on this computer either.
I recommend using the links that they give you to get started.
I recommend viewing the articles on each link if you are unsure what to do.
The most important program (free) they give you is the one to move all your files over. Most of the services will give you a step-by-step video to watch.
These links will only work if your Internet is updated to use them.
I have not seen anything, yet, explaining what to do if your OS is outdated and you are not able to use any of the programs they provide. . Unless someone can provide me a program that an older MAC with an older OS can run to do this for me, I will have to do this manually, upload all my files.
So with that said, make sure your Internet is updated as far as it will go, depending on the OS.
